So they have these deals for iPhone SE. I came in with my father, yesterday 9/21, because we were interested in one of the offers. I was taken away at how the customer service young ladyâs demeanor was so unprofessional. She proceeded in telling us about another deal and when I informed her of the other deal I had seen online she began âhead poppingâ and having this rather rude attitude. I was translating to my father and this employee just disregarded that I was speaking to my father and began speaking to him in Spanish. No problem, right? Well she just kept having a rude demeanor throughout the conversation. Finally my father and I agreed to gather a few things needed and then come back. Before leaving, I lightly tapped on the counter as saying âheyâ and I suggested for her to work on her attitude. I said it in a low voice, for I am not one that like causing scenes in public. Just as I was about to walk out, this employee yelled at me from across the store saying that âat least I speak Spanishâ which was irrelevant to anything. I speak Spanish too, so I was confused. I pretty much ask d what her deal was and apparently I was the rude one for suggesting her to work on her attitude. I donât remember everything that was verbally exchanged, but from what I remember she was âpissedâ because I didnât speak to her in Spanish or something like that and because I had been the rude one. Whatever , I mean if I gave that impression. What did piss me off was her lack of professionalism in work area. Not only that but she suggested that it was okay to ASSUME someone speaks a language by their outer appearance. Anyone is welcome to speak any language they want and if she preferred Spanish she could have said it when our convo initiated. Also, o wasnât going to assume she spoke Spanish either. Usually people approach and speak English, unless they know. Honestly it was pathetic. Now I call today to speak to the store manager, and I got told that there is no store manager. That the store manager will not be back for a few months. I asked who was in charge and I got told that no one was really. Well no wonder this location has crappy customer service and no deescalation training. I am happy to say that we took our business to another MetroPCS store (which was corporate store) and I complained there about the situation.    Read moreUsed to be great. Now it's not. They had different employees and the store ran smoothly. They were very helpful, very friendly, very tech savvy, and didn't push for you to buy stuff. Now, they have all new employees who condescendingly speak to you if you're a woman, and if you don't want to make any purchases they don't want you at the store. Case in point, my daughter's phone did not want to update and I took it in to see what the problem was, the guy behind the counter, didn't even know what I wanted and he right away said I had to buy a new phone because my phone was "too old" and when I explained to him that I was not interested in a new phone, he said that there was nothing he could do for me.
