Grocery Outlet — Local services in San Pablo

I had always really liked the people and many products at the Grocery Outlet in Richmond I had come in many times with my small bicycle which I generally carried and one day in April, a man who can only be described as a goon and a woman hater, came up to me an physically blocked my way. I am fairly certain his name is Ken.

I am 115 5 foot two woman and he physically blocked my way from the store that I have always brought my bicycle into before. And told me no bikes are allowed ever inside the store. I told him I didn't have a lock and I came for an emergency and he said he didn't care. I came back later in my car to speak to the manager, a man who I had always liked; he told me no bikes no exceptions.

I said to him I am fine with not bringing my bike back in the future but I think some polite allowance for somebody who has been coming to the store on a nearly daily basis should be granted.

This was in April 2017 and I have not step foot in that store since then.

I have spoken to many people especially bicycle us about the unfriendliness of this particular store to people who are doing their best to help work on global warming and wanting to shop locally in their neighborhood.

I would never ever suggest anyone go to the store. And I say this with a sense of irony the people who work at Safeway are more...

Today was a very bad day for me this year. I have bought gift cards with my credit card at Costco before, and I am also a frequent customer of Outlet Grocery, San pablo, I have bought gift cards here before, and I always like the excellent service of the employees here. But today at Out Grocery - San Pablo, just because I and her employees did not know that I could not buy gift cards with my credit card using Apple Pay, an old manager with white hair even wanted to yell at me and made me wait for nearly half an hour. The manager should not blame this excellent female employee and even make her cry, because there are many misunderstandings here, and her colleagues know the whole process. This rude management and encounter made me very disappointed, and the manager should compensate and apologize to this female employee, and now I have used my credit card to recharge $3,000 at Costco to buy...

A lot of people fall asleep on Grocery Outlet but truly you can find a nice variety of truly healthy items AND high quality things like European organic menstrual products. The biggest pitfall would be the inconsistency in the stocking of products. If you stumble on a good find- buy the entire stock! I often find things that I'd normally spend more than double on at Sprouts. Just like you should do at any other store- check the expiration dates.
