Liquor for Less — Local services in San Pablo

The store is very dim. As I entered the store, I asked the clerk (a lady) if they sold Ritz crackers, which i was told "No!" rather emphatically, before fully getting the question out. After I asked about a 2nd item, I was yelled at and told to "Buy or Leave", by a man sitting in the corner. He told me that they closed at 9:30 pm (the current time was 9:39), when clearly the door said 10:00 pm. I then asked why they were rushing me out of their store, and the first clerk continued to yell and said "You Harass us, I call police. Buy or Leave". Out of frustration and anger, I decided to leave.

Please do not support this store. The customer service is appalling.

I left Brookside U Save, and went to Bonfare Market which is not far from this location. The customer service at Bonfare was excellent and the store was well lit. Bonfare's address is: 1321 23rd St #8, San Pablo, CA 94806. Please go to Bonfare if you do not want to be yelled at and treated disrespectfully.

I just left store about 30mins ago the guy and lady that work there are both crazy I dont know how they are running the store. I simply went in to check my lotto tkts on scan machine found out I won free play for fantasy five .Took it to the counter and also decided to buy oreo cooies that were rt there before I buy any food item I always look it over & check dates. Box had 20sep18 I say do you have a newer box of cookies as they looked old and was out dated . The lady tried tell me dnt expire til 2020 she started going off screaming get out Im starting trouble and Im scaring her. I guess next was gone come the famous line "Im calling police", now they guy came over to help me which he did and was a bit more calm than her but still said you buy or not you complain to much. I agree with everyone that has provide a review a out this store. Prior to my very last experience at this store. I was at the counter purchasing lottery tickets, I saw a rat run behind the rude lady that was assisting me. I would never purchase any food items from that uncleanly looking store. My last and very last experience, the lady cheated me out of my lottery winnings. When I turned away for a quick second, she slid a couple of my tickets on the floor. I asked her where were my other tickets and she stated I only had the ones on the counter. I started I know what I gave you. I just left because it wasn't worth my time arguing with her.
