Pit Stop Mobile Repair — Local services in San Pablo

I had found this place on groupon to get my brakes done. Both front and back. The staff are really nice and friendly and they are fast and I was hoping the parts were reliable. They get 3 starts because my front wheels never stopped squeaking even after new brakes and rotors(just all in February). The noise would stop momentarily then something would kick back in again. I was told that if it doesn’t stop (even after going back multiple times for them to check my brakes and sensors), I could buy my own brake pads and they would install them for free. I called today and explained that I was buying new brake pads due to the noise and was asking if I needed to get a new sensor as well even if it were only 2 months old… whoever answered the phone was only interested in telling me that parts and labor would be over 500!! I repeated to the guy that I was told my install would be free and he kept repeating the $500+ price smh. Rotors and brakes are just 2 months old and all rusty too… I don’t see how, when I drive nearly every day. I’ve never had this issue. So now I’m throwing money away by going to get my front brakes and rotors replaced by...

Got a Groupon for an oil change. $50. It's about half what I would pay at oil changers. Got there before they opened at 9. Do you have an appt? No. You need an appt. Oh. Lemme me see, give me 5 min. (Someone else in the lobby said they've tried to make an appt and no one picks up the phone...I did hear the phone several times while I was there ) It probably did take him 5 or more min to walk 30ft into the garage and get back to me. Surprise! They were able to take me. Oil draining takes a while when you're not at one of those jiffy/speedy/10min places so if you're in a hurry or impatient.. maybe this isn't for you. I was there for almost an hour start to finish. Spot is a ways off the freeway. For the price I'll go back but plan...

Came here because my check engine light was on in my VEHICLE which meant time for an oil change. They did the Oil Change. Got in the car and the Check engine was still on. Asked the guy could he please reset it? He said $40.00.

I will not patronize this money hungry crazed A…hole ever again. Im like WTH?

The companies response is BS as other legitimate companies will always clear up the oil light. Additionally they do not charge $250 as I've had this done previously. My finance and son have stated you are out of pocket...
