MARIN COUNTY TEAM - We had a monthly service with this team. It was all going well even with the continuous rescheduling and last minute confirmations from the provider. The team I had assigned was fabulous. I wish I knew her name because SHE is the one who deserves all the 5 stars for service.
Our last service (9/15/2021) took turn for the worst. A new team was assigned with absolutely NO heads up. They came and apparently someone went rogue because the disrespectful spill of BLEACH on our carpet and a rare family rug occurred with absolutely NO clean-up or notification while she was here. I heard them speak to each other to leave it and clean up their stuff to leave.
I went immediately to the issue and cleaned it up myself once I noticed what happened. I also sent photos via email and text to show what happened to management. Silly of me because it took emails and a conversation of how I would be discounted for the "inconvenience" by the manager. He informed me he still had to pay his workers and it was odd bleach was involved because they don't use it.
So I did it myself to have a tantrum with your company for no reason? It was the most absurd response and solution.
Now, I have moved out and I knew this stain would be an issue. I will update this review to explain how Molly Maid intends to be accountable for the potential loss of my deposit as well as the out of pocket fees I have to pay to resolve the issue HIS TEAM caused me at my apartment.
Do not use this service unless you have time to watch the team and micro manage management to be responsible for what may come out of your service.

I saw Elvia use a cloth on the bottom of the chair and then wipe the kitchen counter with it. I mentioned this in the feedback to Maurice (manager or owner) and Elvia either forgot she had done this or told a lie to Maurice that she didn't do that.
Elvia also moved a chair on top of a cord which could be a fire hazard.
Erica bumped into things, put the bathmat on top of the heater and semi broke the toilet seat.
Maurice responded to my original email with the feedback that he would talk to them to improve the service they provide.
Maurice told me in the follow-up email that they don't do dishes.
I suggested I am interested in trying out another team and Maurice didn't respond to that.
And Maurice didn't respond to Erica semi-breaking the toilet seat.
I saw in another review that there was giggling in Spanish. I too experienced that.
When I made the appointment Maurice said they spoke basic English. Elvia's English was very basic and it was difficult communicating with her. And Erica spoke practically no English.
I suspect a couple of their employees might speak English, but they didn't clean my place.
Their employees need to be taught about germs and not using the same cloths on the bathroom as the living room as the bathroom.
And their employees need to be taught about avoiding fire hazards like running over cords and...
   Read moreI recently moved across the country to California with my girlfriend and used MM to get our new home in clean move in ready/working order. Mind you, we both work from home and spend an easy 90% in our humble abode.
Upon inspection it turned out the two person staff oversaw to clean several windows or vacuum in any of the rooms, I learned this because I stepped on a nail in the carpet when walking into my now new to me office space.
The kitchen still had food crumbs and actual DIRT from the previous tenant.
When I tried to call the office I was out on hold and finally had to hang up because it was becoming apparent I was forgotten about.
You know that they say in life, you get what you pay for.. well, whoever wrote that never hired this cleaning service...
(I did not want the result in leaving this nothing but a truthful comment, but after being blown off and disregarded the way I am being treated as a paying customer - it’s time to go through alternate routes. This is stage 2 of resolution, stage 3 is calling my bank directly)
