I used to love this place, but I can't deal with this recent crap.
I had been buying juice here for a while. I was talked into getting a new vape, it was time. The guy told me "if you have any issues come back, I'll take care of you." He kindly filled my tank before I left. First problem occurred when I tried to refill my top loading tank and realized he had over tightened it. No one I knew could open it, so a few days after I bought it I took it back to the shop. Pliers were used to unscrew the mouth piece, leaving scratches all over my brand new vape's mouth piece. He told me he couldn't replace it Bc he would have to take from one of his own, even though it was his screw up, not mine, and he damaged it. Fine. I just dealt with the disappointment. Two months after buying this brand new vape, it randomly just died. I tried to reset it, charge it, plug it in to my computer and it was still dead. I called the shop, who knows who I am at this point, and they told me they can't help me, that if it's still under warranty I have to contact the company (even though the store clearly sold me a faulty product). I finally hunt down the company and contact them, and they say to mail it back with a receipt. I didn't keep my receipt, but having managed several businesses I know it's not difficult to re-print a receipt so I call the store back, I gave them the date and amount of the sale, I give them my phone number and ask them to please call me when they found the transaction and I'll come get the receipt. Read moreCame in one day to pick up a vape, didn’t end up opening it until a couple days later, only to find out it was faulty, I went in to the shop to try and get it exchanged/refunded, ended up arguing with the guy for an hour because he didn’t believe that I bought the vape from them, even though he was the one to sell it to me. He humiliated me in front of other customers by pulling them into a conversation and even FaceTiming the owner to ask if they sell that vape (both him and the owner were convinced that they didn’t sell that vape), doing all this in front of customers making me look like a Karen. Fed up I just bought a new vape from them, guess what, IT WAS THE EXACT VAPE I HAD BOUGHT FROM THEM ON MY PRIOR VISIT! Luckily they refunded me on the first vape, but made me pay for the new one, which is fair I guess, but I was literally guilty until proven innocent. I would give them one star, but they do have a large selection of items and are open later than most.

Read moreUpdate one year later! Still the same friendly faces. They remembered me even though I've been on a 8-month hiatus! They have loads of new shisha flavors that they never had before. I might just have to get back into the habit. I love the customer service here. I love that the store is always changing and adding new things. I love that they have a knife section? Like a crazy big knife section! And now they have these Goofy hookahs I love it!
Definitely stop in and see these fine individuals who are running this shop so well!
Walked in tonight and was helped immediately. The guy walked me over to my section and showed me what I needed to see. Asked me for extras to make sure I was all set. A biiig shop with lots of selection and prime flavors for hookah. Ive shopped in Oakland, Berkeley El Cerrito, Richmond and SF and I am shocked to find the best quality on a little corner in Oakland.
