Country Club Village — Local services in San Ramon

I LOVE this shopping (strip) mall!! It has a WalMart Grocery store, a CVS (albeit old), my favorite Vietnamese restaurant, a Subway, a (legitimate 😉) Massage Parlor, a Mexican restaurant and a nail salon!! (There is also a new burger place (haven't tried it), a so-so Chinese restaurant, a Dry Cleaners, a Pizza Hut (pick-up) a cheap hair cut place and a Starbucks that I don't frequent bc the employees are racist). There is lots of parking. I can get so much done and I can walk from place to place, without ever having to move my car. My only beef is with the WalMart's new Pickup. I LOVE, LOVE the convenience of ordering online, specifying a time for pickup and never having to get out of the car. (My only "BEEF", is that most of the 5-6 spots, for PICKUP CUSTOMERS ONLY, are usually filled with people shopping inside the store). But for that, it would...

My mother has a specific list of grocery things that she needs at all times and I'm the person who goes out for the groceries. In particular. This time that I was out and about I was looking for mini kerfir drinks. I'm really able to find these tiny probiotic drinks, but I wanted to make sure that I could find them at some place that I can go to on a regular basis. Every now and then. I might see them at a whole foods, but it's very rare that I find them at a Walmart. Low and behold. When I looked it up online I saw that this particular Walmart had the exact size that my mother was looking for and the flavor! I zipped over and found more than enough for my mom to last the week. They have T4 and one of those smaller "lame" Walmarts... but that's really it... The place is mostly parking lot and feels deserted most of the time. The worst part is the lack of street lights though. You'd think such a large space would be lit better, but it's pretty dark near...
