Pretty lousy experience. Staff was absolutely selective in enforcing their 2 customer limit.
I placed an order over the phone, went to pick up, and noticed a man waiting outside. Asked if he was in line; he said he was waiting on his order to be called. Notice a sign that indicated 2 customers at a time, ok, no big deal. See that there were 3 customers inside, albeit, 2 separate parties of customers, one with a younger child. Ok, makes sense for the child+parent to be together as "1 customer". Wait for the first customer to exit, I enter, and am immediately greeted with "2 customers only, wait outside". But there were just...3? Alright, sure, not a big deal.
The man waiting outside hears his order called, hesitates (probably after seeing them make myself wait outside while the child+parent order, who are on the phone and haven't made any progress 5mins in), hears the order repeated and enters. There are now...3 customers inside within less than 6 ft of each other? No comments from staff, surprise surprise.
The man exits and a new customer pulls up; I advise that they're only letting 2 at a time. "Oh I'm just picking up" - aren't we all? She enters, staff look at her phone for the app order, and bags the order up. There are now...3 customers inside again within less than 6 ft of each other? No comments from staff, surprise surprise. Each additional customer exceeding the 2 at a time limit + bagging their orders takes several minutes, all within close proximity. My mask did a great job hiding my dropped jaw each time staff continued to allow 3 people in the store after asking me to exit the first time.
Finally entered after the initial parent+child had completed their order and asked what that was all about, given that I waited outside and watched as they continued to service those customers + additional customers, frequently exceeding their 2 customer limit and not requesting they wait outside. No answer to that, just a "I think your order is ready". Like, yeah lol it is, I've been looking at it the whole time from outside? I reiterate that it makes no sense to have the rule if they aren't going to apply it to everyone; again, no answer, just a "Anything else you need".
I don't know what to make of this. When I was able to voice my concerns, it went completely over the staff members' head and they were rudely dismissive and passive aggressive. Used to like this spot but there are other milk tea places I'd rather go to that actually treat you like a human. Talk about cherry-picking who the...
Read moreNice modern looking place with a nice ambience. TV and games are offered as entertainment. The service of the place has always been very rapid. However, some of the staff members can be rather rude and their bathroom are usually dirty (full trash, a lot of paper on the floor, pee all around the seat).
I wanted to order two drinks. I ordered (1), a large wintermelon milk tea with pearl and wanted to order (2), a honeydew drink, having seen the little advertisement blackboard by the cashier. Thinking that "honeydew popping boba" was a drink, I requested it. The cashier was confused at my request to order "honeydew popping boba", so another worker (asian, spiky hair, black frame glasses) stepped in within seconds. When I tried to cancel my order of "honeydew popping boba" and replace it with a thai milk tea, the 2nd worker cut me off saying "no no no", raised his voice and repeated my initial order with attitude. I went along with it and paid. Expecting two drinks, I was confused to see two toppings in only one drink. The 2nd worker gave me a defiant look when I was about to contest the drink, so I decided to own my confusion and to just order a second drink. I now order a large thai milk tea with pearl, only to realize later at home that they charged me extra for a large on top of the price already being for a large (charge not applied on exact same order during previous times).
It isn't the first time that I have been truly disappointed at their service and the rudeness of some of their workers, but have been going there frequently. Their location is convenient, close to home, and their drinks are tasty overall. In addition, they have a great deal going on after 7pm with $2.50 for drinks and 20% off snacks. Many of their workers are very friendly, and I usually try to come during days the nice ones work. Mondays will be another...
Read moreMy family and I came here after gathering together to celebrate my moms birthday with my dad.
Since moving up to northern California, I have been searching for a place to get good boba tea drinks. I still haven't found one.
One of my nephews suggested this place so we all drove over after dinner. Good family times hanging out.
T4 has an incentive card perk, where if you buy 5 drinks you get the 6th one for free. There were 8 of us present, so of course we cashed in on that deal.
I wasn't too impressed with the menu items or lack thereof, really there wasn't a lot of options. Or maybe I am just used to having a plethora of tea flavors available. Not sure.
Anyhow, I ended up ordering a Honey Green Tea with Boba, seems like a pretty simple good tasting drink, except that it didn't taste like it had much honey in it.
This store is located in a shopping center, towards the back in a corner, not close to any of the entrances. Keep an eye out if you visit, It's...
