I had a really unpleasant experience with the "Beach Life Experience" salon. I purchased a Groupon deal for a Hydra facial, but things went awry. After buying the deal, I tried contacting them, but they never answered my calls. Eventually, I realized they had even blocked my number. I managed to get in touch through a friend, and after several attempts via email and Facebook, Ebony finally scheduled me for an appointment on Monday at 11. I arrived on time but ended up waiting for 20 minutes. When Ebony called, she seemed surprised I was waiting and mentioned it had slipped her mind. Despite this, I was patient and told her I could wait for another half-hour. She insisted I reschedule and even texted me about canceling during our call. I explained rescheduling wasn't feasible as I had taken time off work, but Ebony became offended and abruptly hung up while I was trying to talk. It was humiliating after putting in so much effort to make the appointment. I shared my experience with the building's owner, who was understanding and apologetic. During my drive back, Ebony texted me, blaming my argumentative tone for not giving me an extra free facial as a compensation. I hadn't read the message as I was driving. When she called, and I explained the situation, she started yelling about reading the text. I asked for a refund or an end to this Groupon-related business without providing services. In response, she became infuriated and hung up again, showing a complete lack of customer empathy. I've reported this incident to Groupon, and I believe Ebony needs to work on her communication and customer service skills. Her behavior was rude and disrespectful. I wouldn't recommend her services to anyone and sincerely hope she finds some peace of mind in the future. (Without giving one star I could not post this review) Please read this as well. Again never had a hydrofacial but from what I saw most people wet your face before using the machine, she did not, she was using it over dry skin, thought nothing of it because she did say she didnāt use the same type of machine as everyone else but it did make it very uncomfortable. Here I am now 4 days later and my skin around my nose looks like I have a sunburn like it is going to peel, pretty sure itās from so much pressure with that machine on dry skin and just the high suction. Scheduling was easy, appointment was on time, very knowledgeable of products and session, gentle and adapted to my skin needs (eczema friendly), easy to converse to pass the time, very thorough with treatment and clean up so I was ready to take on the rest of the day. My skin feels hydrated and clean and smooth. Just what I needed and asked for. If you have only had face treatments you are missing out with getting a back facial! Beneficial in many ways!
