f you have a special piece of jewelry or are looking for someone to do custom jewelry, I have to recommend Dan Martin Jewelers!!
I had a very unique and special custom gift and had no clue who to trust with it, then remembered that my friend Stacy Nelson had a very special piece that she also needed someone to be very careful with and she had AMAZING results with Danny!
Almost 8 years ago my husband was accidentally shot. He heard the gun go off, started feeling and looking around, the bullet had entered through the back of his right leg, just behind his knee, exited out of the top of his right leg, and re-entered the top of his right bi-cep! He squeezed/pulled the bullet from his arm, and later found the casing on the floor. We have had both pieces ever since and I've kept them in a bag in our home office. He was very lucky (And we were all thankful that he survived)
I've wanted to do something with both pieces for a while! This year for Christmas, I finally figured it out! I took the pieces to Danny and asked him if he could put them back together (Safely), create a top/slide so it could go on a chain, and ordered a new chain. Clearly this would be a once in a lifetime piece and if it were messed up there would be no going back! My husband also has his father's gold eagle pendant that is very special to him, so I had Danny clean, strengthen and adjust the bail on that so he could change the bullet and eagle out.
I could not be MORE thrilled with the end product and my husband was beyond shocked, thrilled and stunned with his gift!
Danny and his staff are friendly, thorough, and pay attention to detail and will not stop until everything is right and to your (and his) satisfaction! Whether you're looking for something unique, custom, needing repairs, or just want to shop in store, I highly recommend Dan Martin Jewelers! And it's always nice to support...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was made aware of Dan by the manager of a big-chain jeweler, whose store was not able to do a customization I wanted. The manager knew Dan professionally from the past. Although I live 40 minutes away from the store, it was absolutely worth it to come to Dan. I have no regrets, and I will be returning when I need more jewelry.
I wanted custom work done on an engagement ring. I wasnāt 100% sure exactly what I wanted, but I had a general idea. Because Dan is actually a jeweler, not just a sales person, he was able to tell me what is and isnāt feasible (and actually helped me come up with the final plan on what I wanted). This is not something that would have been possible without talking to the person who actually does the work.
I am extremely pleased with the final product. Dan, and his staff, are personable and nice to talk to. I find myself having conversations longer than I mean to when talking with him, because talking with him is so easy.
Dan helped me pick out birthstones for myself, my fiancĆ©e, and our child. There are various types of each birth stone, and then also you need to choose between natural and lab created (I went with lab created because I wanted the color characteristics that come with lab created stones). Mine and my fiancĆ©eās birth stones were put into bezels, then placed on either side of the Diamond. Our childās birth stone was placed flushed on the inside of the ring (I wanted him to be part of the ring as well). I had some engraving done on the inside, which turned out great. The sizing was perfect (he has a super fancy sizing kit - for the best sizing, go into the store).

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen my grandfather passed away, we found my grandmotherās wedding band tucked away, a ring that had been lost for 25 years. I only vaguely remember ever seeing it, but when I held it in my hands I was stunned to realize it was almost identical to my own wedding band. That connection felt overwhelming, and I knew I wanted to wear hers alongside mine.
Because her knuckle had been fused, her ring was much much larger than mine. Dan Martin Jewelers resized it perfectly, polished it with care, and even honored my request to leave the original wear marks that told her story. They did all of this quickly, but more importantly, they gave me their time and compassion. They sat with me as I cried, and patiently talked through options for merging other heirloom pieces into something new.
Walking into the shop, I was greeted not only by the kindness of the staff, but also by Lulu, their sweet shop dog, who instantly made me feel at home. Every person there was thoughtful, understanding, and treated both me and the ring as though they knew how priceless it truly was.
Now, I wear both my grandmotherās and my own band together, a symbol of love and legacy that brings me comfort every day. I will forever be grateful to have found a jeweler who listens, who cares, and who understands that sometimes a ring carries more than gold, it carries generations of love.
Eternally thankful & excited for future...
