Just went for an alignment and after about an hour they tell me they can’t do the camber or caster adjustments due to me not having camber bolts. Instead of just letting me know they can’t perform the alignment, they do only my toe adjustment & tell me I have to pay full price but they’ll give me a discount for my next one. That just doesn’t make sense, why would I pay twice when the alignment wasn’t even done to completion? On top of that they tried to tell me they adjusted my rear end. That’s just impossible considering my rear is a SOLID AXLE. The only adjustments on a solid axel are thrust, and that can only be performed AFTER the front tires are aligned. I have to drive 30 miles to go pick up the camber bolts, which I told them I would return tomorrow, so don’t see how I’d have to pay anything more when I paid full price for a third of the service. They handed me the alignment paper clearly showing they only did the front toe adjustment. I will be using the paper they gave me to dispute the charge. I tried to talk to them, they only wanted to offer a discount on a service I’ve already paid for. I’m a Mopar certified technician from Florida, this isn’t my first time getting an alignment and it’s customary if you can’t do the job, you tell the customer and don’t do it. You don’t do a quarter of it, then tell the customer and ask...
Read morePaid 60.00 for a used tire gave the man a 10.00 tip cash only. Put 200 miles on the tire and the belt separated car started shaking violently. Brought it back in explained the situation and they chose not to replace it or even offer me a discount on another used tire. I can understand no warranty on a used tire but it was weeks old and you could feel the belt was separated, not to mention the tire was a re-tread. Went down the street to Mavis and bought a new tire for $84.95. Mavis confirmed this tire was a retread and they though it wasn't even legal to sell them for passenger cars . Found this with a simple search (In North Carolina, retread tires are not permitted on passenger vehicles that go through the state's inspection and maintenance program. They are allowed on trailers being pulled by commercial motor vehicles, but those retreads are regulated by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Retreads are not recommended for passenger cars due to safety concerns and potential for tread separation.) Please stop selling retreads you could...
Read moreI went and i needed a used tire for the front of my car. I told them what I needed they also looked at the tire on my car. I noticed the 3 guys in a huddle looked at the tire that they got off of the rack. Then I noticed they kept looking at me funny. They went ahead and put the tire on the car I paid and left. But something was bothering me so I pulled over in a parking lot right below them looked at the tire they put the wrong size tire on the front of my car! Then me thinking maybe it was a mistake I called back up there and told the girl in the front that answered the phone that it was the wrong size tire. She says to me we told you that. I said no ma'am you did not and nobody else did either because I would have told you not to put that on my vehicle. Won't go back. If you didn't have the right size you could have just told me. Makes women feel like we've been taking advantage of because men think we're stupid....
