Taqueria El Amigo — Restaurant in Santa Ana

The food was descent but 1 star for the service and debit card policy. We specifically asked if they took debit cards before ordering because that's all I had. They said yes. So my 3 friends ordered and then I stepped up. Mine was $9.07 and he said it would have to be $10 or they charge a dollar! This should have been disclosed in the first place. So he said I could change my drink to an XL? (2.89!) So I said sure. The total only climbed.. but to 9.72 and he informed me it would still cost me a dollar and he clearly wasn't going to waive it. Needless to say I won't be back. There's plenty of other, BETTER, mexican food in Santa Ana to choose from. At the very least he could have waived it just once as he suggested the up size...

Absolutely LOVE this Place! Best Place for Sopes & Wet Burritos 🌯😍 the horchata is also really good and they give you chips with beans and cheese on it as an appetizer. Very different from other places but they are so good! They have the best beans ever. Restaurant is family owned and they are super nice and love what they do and have! Always love coming here when I'm hungover food is filling and taste amazing ✨ price is decent for how things are now with inflation. I order some tacos they asked everything on it? So I asked what is everything? Onions and cilantro.. so I said yes. To my surprise no onions no cilantro and meat is to dry. I was no able to eat it like that. One day I was there waiting for my order. I was discussed when I noticed the girl was doing some mopping without washing her hands and touching everything around including the food. This was about late at night. I told her you need to wash your hands before touching my food. Honestly I throw everything I couldn't stop thinking about it. I don't think that I'm coming back again. No good business. Too bad I didn't have the option...
