Cal Coast Adventures at West Beach — Local services in Santa Barbara

Actually this is Tracy Miller... :) I decided on renting from Cal Coast Adventures yesterday 11/29/2020 primarily for where they are situated - right on the beach. I am not a fan of having to use a dock to get in and out of a kayak. Cal Coast Adventures at West Beach turned out to be even better than expected. Great customer service on the phone and AWESOME customer service from ANDRE' right there on the beach. Very friendly, helpful and professional. Great kayaks and paddle boards that are in very good condition. Loved the high back seats for the kayaks. Looks like they were brand new. I highly recommend Cal Coast Adventures at West Beach for kayaking and sup fun. Just be sure to find parking off the main drag as it is only 90 mins and trust me you will want to spend more than 90 mins out on the water there in Santa Barbara! I will...

Great customer service! They even text msg and return your calls even if you don’t leave a VM. I booked a 3hr,and needed to change it to a 2hr day of and really only could do an hour after my kayak partner tipped the kayak over then got seasick. They were so nice to refund me for just 1hr. Just follow Google maps don’t follow Apple Maps And make sure to Google maps this exact location: cal coast adventures at west beach. They are directly at the beach. You have to launch the kayak yourself and carry it to shore ,which is the only downside and no dry bags provided. They do watch your stuff for you so it was a good thing we left our stuff with them. Kayaks were very sturdy. Staff was excellent. Will be back again! Great rates as well but do book in advance as I saw they book out on weekends. They close at 6:30...

Amazing experience! Booked the day of because we had no idea where to do water activities and ended up at the best place. We booked online and the had lots of equipment available, which was perfect. The team helped us immediately when we arrived and was super friendly. We did paddle boarding and kayaking, the view was beautiful and loved how this is right on the sand so it’s super easy!
