I never leave reviews but my experience at this store left me very sad & upset đĄ
The store is full nice items, I went in to buy my father a t-shirt....I was never spoken too although I heard everyone else entering the store being greeted.
I found my father a t-shirt walked up to the counter, I waited at the counter while the staff ( 2 women) steps from me continued to talk as to pretend to not see me...I patiently waited for about 3-4mins, after seeing I wasn't leaving one of woman pointed at me and told the other "Go". The female walked behind the counter and then continued to start moving items (papers, pens cups) all why I stood at the counter not even being acknowledged, I want walk out the store but I didn't....The female finally turned to me and stated " Wait I'll get you in second "
After a 2-3mins she turned to check me out not saying a word but the total $24.09..I ask if you could take $50? She said "yea" ...I proceeded to give her the money, $50.09 she REFUSED to take it from my hand
I placed it on the counter she REFUSED to pick it up; however she gave me my change in my hand ensuring not to touch my hands and quickly turning to put Sansitizer on her hands.
This person couldn't been afraid of covid because she had no mask on!!!
I WILL NEVER SHOP THIS STORE AGAIN!!! I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE & RESPECT TOWARD CERTAIN...
Read moreI lived in SB for a while and had bought things here before, but my last experience there was just awful. The woman working there was just cold. I wanted to buy a sweatshirt but it was very expensive ($70ish) and unfortunately all of them on the rack had their seams ripped out in various places. I asked if they offered a discount for the seams (since I saw another 50% discounted item for a stain that I couldnât even see or find), hoping to save a little bit of money, and the woman just said no, so I put it back. We ended up taking a few small gifts for some of our family and paid half by card and half by cash. When we handed her the cash she acted like we handed her something rotten - picked it up bill by bill, using hand sanitizer, put it away, used some more hand sanitizer, and didnât speak to us at all. âNoâ might have been the only word she uttered to us after we had the items at the register. We said thank you, have a good day⌠nothing. We left the store after that and my partner was really upset, regretting having bought the items there⌠trying to guess if the reason people were mean and cold with us is because we speak with each other in a foreign language, or because weâre a queer couple, because I translate, who knows. I know working in retail can be hell, but a little kindness goes a long way. Or even some communication/transparency. Being cold really can ruin...
Read moreMuch to see, there is, within this humble shop upon the pier. Gifts and treasures, abundant they are, calling to travelers like whispers of the Force. A Jedi seeking mementos or a wanderer yearning for a tokenâfulfilled, they shall leave.
The staff, warm and welcoming, like the twin suns of Tatooine they shine. Knowledgeable they are, guiding lost souls to their perfect keepsake, with wisdom as deep as the archives of Coruscant.
The wares, diverse they areâclothing strong in the Force, trinkets imbued with the memories of the ocean, and artifacts of Santa Barbaraâs spirit. Flip-flops, T-shirts, and frames aplentyâchoose wisely, a Jedi must.
Patience, one need not have, for the journey through this store flows smoothly, as if guided by the currents of the sea. Prices fair they are, though some items require the credits of a smugglerâs haul.
A fine establishment, this is. To those who seek souvenirs and gifts, visit, you must.
May the shopping...
