UPDATE to my post regarding Furniture Now! To my fellow neighbors who have seen my previous post or any who reads this subsequently. I MUST retract my previous admonition to avoid this vendor. Once the owners saw my post, they reached out personally to me, and even in the midst of dealing with things in their own lives, made the commitment to me to make this situation right. And they delivered! They first made a good faith effort (hours of labor) to repair the furniture pieces! When that did not work out, they replaced the defective pieces at no cost to us. They brought new pieces and hauled away the defective ones. That kind of accountability and customer service is rare in business these days, and as a customer of theirs, this has certainly solidified a relationship. The experience with the owners was a complete 180 from our previous experience with the manager.
I am compelled by this experience with the owners of Furniture Now, to earnestly recommend them as a neighborhood vendor, local, not a chain, and personally invested in their customers' satisfaction. I have never been happier to be wrong. Please seek them out for your next purchase.
Absolutely horrible experience! We bought several pieces of furniture from them. They are super friendly when selling it to you. But, almost every piece of furniture we purchased was damaged, broken, malfunctioning, or started falling apart in less than 6 months. Their process for repairs is ridiculously long. They take no responsibility for the quality of the furniture they sell, and they treat you like you're the problem when they have to make things right. They send technicians who actually cause more damage to the furniture when they are supposed to be fixing it, and then tell you, you are being unreasonable when you want the technicians supervised while making repairs. Stay away from this place, spend your hard-earned money somewhere else! And, after all this, when I asked to speak to the owner, I was told by the store manager, and I quote, "it is a family-owned business, and you will not be talking to them. You will only be dealing with me." Incredibly rude, and once they have your money, you're at their mercy to get your furniture that you purchased repaired, and just to be what you initially purchased. Save yourself the time and frustration, go...
Read moreI was very disappointed in the services from the sales rep “E”. I have been a 6 time returning customer and have continued to return because of the great quality in their furniture and amazing prices, however, when I tried to return what would’ve been the 7th time, I was greatly disappointed with the pricing.
I showed interest in a couch that was priced at $2,999.99, I was told multiple times that I would receive a great deal because i’m a returning customer and they have the best prices in the city of SCV. When it came down to negotiating the pricing, my sales rep E told me the best she could do was $2,899.99….. $100 difference that didn’t even cover the cost of the delivery. Out of frustration I left and told her we would be in touch.
A few days later, after doing some research on different couches in SCV I discovered that furniture now is indeed not the cheapest and best in the SCV. I texted my sales rep yet again asking what was the best she could do in terms of pricing…. yet again I was told I needed to apply for their credit financing before I could be given any more of a discount and the $2,899.99 was “all she could do”.
They are partnered with Ashley’s furniture, and yet Ashley furniture has better pricing than they do. I even located the same couch i loved and got it out the door (with delivery + tax included) at $1800 with a different establishment. I can confidently say I will not be a returning customer to this...
Read moreIn July, I made a significant purchase at Furniture Now during their Fourth of July sale: a sofa/loveseat set along with a complete bedroom set, totaling approximately $4,000. Delivery to Palmdale was quoted at $75. I was assured by the salesperson that everything would be ready well before I closed escrow on my home later that month.
Unfortunately, that promise was not fulfilled. Two weeks after my purchase, I had not received any update and had to call the store myself. I was told my bedroom furniture was available, but the sofas would not arrive until July 25th. When I visited the store in person to address the issue, I was informed that orders are delayed because the owner requires approval before anything is finalized, causing items that were listed as available to sell out before my order was processed.
When the first delivery finally arrived, the nightstand was missing. More concerning, more than a month after my purchase, I was informed that the sofas were now not expected until September 25th—two months later than the original date I was given.
Furniture Now advertises “See it in store and take it home tonight,” yet my experience has been repeated delays, incomplete deliveries, and a lack of proactive communication. As a result, I canceled my order.
This was a disappointing and frustrating experience, and I cannot recommend this store based on the level of...
