So we ordered the ox tail pho from this place that costs $25 upon receiving the order the portion of meat they give you is laughable and actually insulting. So I called to make my concern known and was told "we go by weight" are you running out of ox tail and rationing it? Is the demand that high? And why not just increase the price and give more meat? I never complain about restaurants but this is actually terrible. Bad service on the phone, terrible ethics when it comes to serving customers and honestly wasn't even that good. Sub par Pho. There is a restaurant in Chatsworth called Pho Saigon 1 that has the same ox tail pho for pretty much the same price and they give you LITERALLY 5 times the ox tail. So if you must have ox tail pho do yourself a favor and drive all the way to Chatsworth, avoid getting ripped off, avoid getting bad service, avoid bad excuses, and avoid the worst restaurant sin of...
Read moreWe went to this restaurant a couple of days ago and the food was delicious. We had the chicken pho (really good and healthy). I came here since other reviews said that they liked it better also because they don;t get any MSG headaches (since it seems this restaurant likes to use better ingredients, and I like to eat as healthy as possible). The pho was really good (I prefer a little more broth than noodles, but they were not skimpy on the meat or the noodles, at least). The broth was very delicious though. I will ask them next time for more broth, just was busy helping the kids eat to ask for more. As far as the friendliness, they are one of the friendliest restaurants I have ever been to. It was a nice experience. (Also, i liked their boba a lot. I asked if they used fresh, real fruit and they said they did. I could tell by the delicious taste. Much better than powdered...
Read moreThe owners were super friendly, the eggs rolls came with hardly and lettuce to wrap them in. The food was good. This place would have been great for a party of 2 or even 4 because it’s super small. However we were 7. Three adults that sat together and 4 kids (ages 10-12yrs old) sat separately . We were then suggested by the owners to put the two tables together which we did not thinking much of it. Our bill was 154 + tax for all 7, and we’re requested to pay 20% gratuity.. which was 30 dollars. For me 30 usd for a tip seems excessive! The lady owner told me I was short on payment and I explained to her I was not going to pay 30 usd for tip, that I believed 15 was fair and enough, I explained to her that as a small business owner myself I was appreciative of any business and maintaining my clientele, so I would tip her 15 and that...
