They have some decent stuff most times but it's EXPENSIVE....$14.99 for someone's USED pleather jacket? $6.99 for worn used sweatpants? No thank you.
Let's move on to something else, BATHROOM - Do they have one? Yes absolutely, you just can't use it. Why? Because it's "BROKEN" thats why! For 6 months now? Wow that's a long time to have a "broken" bathroom. WhatsWhthe deal with that? Honestly. For a "store" or business to get all their merchandise for free, you would think theytcould at least " give back " by letting their customers go pee right? I just want to know where their employees relieve themselves cuz 6-8 hours can be a long time to wait to use the restroom. I'm thinking anyway.
Next we have the fitting rooms or should I say "room". There's 2 of them but guess what? Only one is available because the other one is....well "Broken". Yes "broken". I won't even ask how a changing booth can get broken. It makes for a time consuming trip should you need to try anything on so make sure you leave yourself time to wait in line to try something on.
Oh and COME EARLY because the fitting room closes like 2 hours before the store closes. STUPID. And they don't say a word about it either, they'll watch you for an hour filling up your cart only to tell you the changing room is closed when you ask to open it. Jerks. Really?
And lastly, the employees, the same ones who dont mention the closed changing rooms...how could I forget. Not one smile, not one "hello" very weird, not friendly at all.
I gave 2 stars because I have found some things worth mentioning like a dress for $3.99. nothing about this place makes it worthy of charging so much. Goodwill is Waaaay better than this place.
oh and one more thing I could never forget, is the HORRIBLE music playing the whole time. Makes you want to run...
Read moreI really did like this thrift store. I decided to pop in after going to UPS, and was impressed by how big, clean, and organized it was. The selection is excellent, along with the quality of the items, and the prices were reasonable. I wasn't even looking for anything specific, but ended up buying a hat, belt, and a pair of shoes! Lol. I definitely plan to return and look through their clothing selection as well. I live down in studio city, but this place along with a couple others in the shopping center such as big lots are definitely worth the drive! One gets a bit sick of the over priced "trendy" thrift stores here in LA đ, and many of the Good Wills leave much to be desired. They also closed down my favorite thrift store (the DAV in Glendale) Grrrrr. So I'm excited about this place! Hope of the Valley...
Read moreWent to donate items on Saturday afternoon. Was told they only accepted donations on weekday mornings. Show back up on Monday morning and was told to just dump everything into an already overflowing bin then to leave. Store is a complete mess and none of the employees seem to know what the drill is, nor wear anything that remotely suggests they work there. Most helpful person there was just another customer who had gone through the same...
