Very disappoint by the owner charging .50 for a small container of extra sauce to go with the meal. This sauce is no different than ketchup, mustard, bar-b-que sauce or any other condiment that every other place offers at no cost. In this case because it's Mediterranean food, the condiment is their sauce but it's no different than any other place that offers the appropriate sauces for free. I've eaten at this place before and they always allowed one extra sauce but now that’s not allowed without paying extra and so I will not go back; Sam doesn't deserve my business. It's foolish of him to charge .50 for the extra sauce and chase away customers because it costs him more money from the lost business. This may be a little thing to some people but I’m a firm believer that we can’t let businesses nickel and dime us. Before you know it you’ll see restaurants charging for soda refills. Some already do but I won’t give them business. It used to be that when you gave a hotel business, parking was included. Now you have to pay extra for parking and that only happened because the public let it happen by continuing to give them business. If customers had stopped giving business to the hotels that charged for parking when it first started then none us would be paying for it now. Sam’s Flaming Grill is already expensive and it's ridiculous that they also charge .50 for a small container of extra sauce so unless they change that policy, I won’t...
Read moreI'm not entirely sure what sort of BALDERDASH has taken place in this particular Sam's Flaming Grill location, but it can only be described as SUBPAR! It was ever-so-slightly unclean, the wait was long, and, despite the fact that this restaurant was positively RIDDLED with tables and chairs, there was only ONE table that was actually available for dining in and it was tragically in use during my visit. Despite all of these issues, the food from this location is the sort of deliciousness that you can expect to find at any other Sam's Flaming Grill location. That being said, if you find yourself craving Sam's Flaming Grill, DON'T COME TO THIS ONE! Drive your little rump right over to the Valencia location. That one is superior is just about every single aspect! It's cleaner, it's faster, it has actual tables you can use to dine-in with, and... oh yeah... it has an "A" from the health department as opposed to "B". Yeah... don't think I didn't notice THAT little detail, SAM'S FLAMING GRILL...
Read moreVery rude staff, especially at the canyon country location. Over 3 times now I've called and called all while no one answers the phone. I drive across town just to be told they closed there register early, again, that they can't take any orders. All an hour before they close. 2 customers ahead of me just as enraged, claiming they placed an online order that was paid for but are being denied. I was a long time fan of this place, even knowing, despite there best efforts, they weren't half as good as Zankou Chicken. I for one will be never return to this place of business and will never refer anyone to any of his stores. Huge fan of mom and pop businesses because they take care of there long time customer's and show nothing but gratitude to there customers, because, customers keep the light's on not rude ungrateful employees who deny business to paying customers during...
