I visited this big 5 location for the first time the other week and found the staff to be enthusiastic, extremely knowledgeable, and eager to help. The most memorable part of my visit to this store was my encounter with one of the employee’s named Cole. He made sure I felt welcomed and the we find the “perfect hiking shoe” (in his own words) together! Another plus I saw while trying on my shoes, a family with a special needs son walk in looking to buy shoes. Cole was calm, collected, and extremely patient with the son making sure to be extra careful. As a father this made my heart melt and realize what true customer service and hospitality really is. I finally finished my visit in the gun department hoping to see what guns they carried. After speaking to the manager (I believe his name was Jeff) who was also really helpful and nice informed me they no longer carried real weapons but still went out of his way to recommend me a different gun store. I look forward to coming back to this location many more times...

Went in with my husband to buy some new work boots and had a great experience. Got greeted as soon as we walked in. The employees working were super friendly. The store is easy to get around and everything is in sections. They have great deals going on. The employee who was working at the back helped us with no problem his name was Alex. Alex was very helpful and gave us his best advice on the boots he had. Also mentioned the sales going on in the store and was happy to answer all my husband's questions. The store is well kept. My place to go when i want something sport-related with a fair price. The store is not really big and as soon as you enter you think you won’t find what you need, but you usually do. There is a lot of variety but everything is so close together that it may be find hard to get. The store space is not optimized it’s crammed with stuff. 80% of the time I have to ask for help finding what I need. It could be better organized. Overall, it’s worth it because the prices are lower than other places. The staff is...
