San Fernando Coffee Company — Restaurant in Santa Clarita

I ordered my usual Iced Latte at the kiosk—two shots of espresso, whole milk, and extra ice. While watching the drink being made, I noticed the barista was using REDUCED FAT MILK instead of WHOLE MILK.

When I asked him about it, he told me they were currently out of whole milk. He also acknowledged that the kiosk still lists whole milk as an option but didn’t mention it was unavailable. What surprised me even more was when he said they usually use reduced fat milk even when customers select whole milk. That doesn’t sound right, and it’s definitely not what I ordered.

I’m disappointed because I wasn’t informed about the substitution, and it feels misleading to offer an option that isn’t actually available—or worse, routinely ignored. When I take the time to customize my drink and choose what I want, I expect it to be made...

Did this location used to be a Starbucks? Yes, and you feel its ghost when you walk in, but now the shop has become something BETTER.

Nothing against Starbs, but their mass-premade breakfast sandwiches can’t hold a candle to the breakfast sandwiches here; Stringy, melty cheese, savory sausage or crispy bacon, and an aioli that elevates the whole thing! And that blueberry streusel muffin is FIRE!

Luis, Desiree and Gio have made me feel right at home the past couple of times I’ve been here, the space is open and bright and they got great vibes playing over the sound system.

Did I mention they sell coffee too? Excellent flavors. So far I’ve have their horchata latte and dulce de leche; customize as you like. EXCELLENT!

This place deserves to be busy and I will be mowing my way through their menu....

This is the first time trying San Fernando Coffee Co. I thought the menu was simple. They have two ordering stations, which are very easy and convenient to order. A cashier is also available. I ordered a standard drip coffee and two pastries. The chocolate croissant was huge, and it seemed pricy for $7.00. So, after consuming this tasty danish, it was priced right. It was so good....... The coffee was good, but when it cooled down, it tasted bitter. I look for a coffee that tastes great to the last drop. This coffee didn't pass my test. The ambiance atmosphere was average. The coffee house has a large dining area inside and outside, which was very nice. There isn't any drive-through. It's worth walking in. Please try this locally...
