Via Princessa Metrolink Station, originally a temporary stop after the 1994 Northridge earthquake, has been permanent for most of its life. The station is convenient, functional, and has plenty of parking, which is why I am rating it 4 stars, but it clearly needs upgrades to the platform, seating, lighting, signage, ticketing, and waiting areas.
I would downgrade it to 3.5 stars due to: Public transit connections are very limited, with only one bus in the morning and evening serving the station. If you rely on buses, be prepared to walk about half a mile just to catch one, which is frustrating since buses run every 20 minutes and could easily stop at the station without affecting the schedule.
