Reviews are all subjective, but I think this is the best Korean BBQ in town. There's three different levels of all you can eat you can order, so you can save a little per person if you don't need fancier meats. Overall I think they're all pretty reasonably priced. The base AYCE comes with plenty variety of meats for most people, you'll get the mainstays like Bulgogi and Brisket. As of this review, the three price levels are: $29.99, $32.99, and $39.99. What is also nice about this place is that they will bring a whole bunch of small plates of condiments to the table with the AYCE meal. All of the sides are delicious, they're probably my favorite part about this place. They offer a nice break in flavor between all the meat. Some examples of the sides are Kimchi, pickled radish, glass noodles, kimchi pancake, salad, etc. The staff has also always been great in my experience; welcoming, quick, and efficient. The Tempura Green Tea Ice Cream dessert is also delicious, a great way to end the meal. I don't think you can have a...

Brought my son and his friends here for lunch. They open at 12noon. We got there right before they opened. We sat down almost immediately.

We already knew what we wanted so we ordered right away. Food came quick and service was very friendly.

We did not order ayce. Instead we opted for the 85.99 deal with 5 selections and shrimp fried rice & chicken fried rice on the side. I also ordered mochi ice cream for dessert. Portions are nice size. Grill heated evenly and was changed a couple of times throughout our meal.

Overall great experience. Only reason I'm giving it a 4 was because the the woman kept reminding me When I was ordering the rice and the mochi that it was "extra"... It was kind of annoying because I was pointing at the menu and the price was right there. I didn't need her to remind me that it was extra every time I ordered something. But overall the woman was very nice and our servers were very nice as well.

I will definitely be coming back!

Great parking. Very clean....

If I could give a half a star i would. This place has the worst customer service ever as soon as we walk in they were be rude to us rushing us to order mine you this is our first time here so we were trying to understand how the menu works none of the server were willing to help show us how everything works they were just like are you gonna order then for some reason for the kids menu they go by height instead of age which is the most ridiculous thing I’ve heard they want to embarrass saying they don’t believe me when I say that my kid isn’t taller than 42” when I know how tall my kid is 35 1/2 “ plus he didn’t even want to eat there but they were still trying to charge me adult price for him i was so upset I stormed out of that place I didn’t even want to eat there anymore never going back to that place again and I will be telling all family and friends not to go...

My wife and I were debating whether we should go here on a Saturday night because a few days later we would be going to Kang Ho-dong Baekjeong in Koreatown. We decided to go for it and were pleasantly surprised by Charcoal: It's a solid AYCE KBBQ joint and definitely the best I've had in Santa Clarita (granted, I've only had one other KBBQ in Santa Clarita). My wife and I each got the $29.99 AYCE, exclusively ordering the beef brisket and the boneless short rib. The brisket definitely satisfied our meat craving. We didn't like the boneless short rib as much, but perhaps this is because we are more accustomed to the bone-in kalbi (which I believe is available here with one of the more expensive AYCE options).

There were 20 of us but we were accommodated and got seated right away on a Saturday night at around 7pm. All of us got the “A” $35.99 “All you can eat barbecue”. The meat and side dishes came out fast, and there were enough staff to help bring out all our orders (side dishes, meat) and change our grilling pan often and consistently. Parking is ample around the area. Service is good. There’s only one thing I don’t like. The exhaust in our table is not efficient enough to suck the smoke out. My eyes were watering with smoke while we were grilling the meat. I’m happy with the food and service though, so I’d still be back here if I’m around the area despite the smoke.

Charcoal is easily the best or one of the best Korean BBQ in SCV. Great menu and a clean restaurant. Their service is spectacular with everything timely and attentive waitresses but not annoyingly so. Their pan jan was great, their meats are well-seasoned and marinated. We get the all-you-can eat when we go so I’m not sure about the broader menu. However, they have a happy hour price for the all you can eat, which doesn’t hurt. It’s a little pricey but very normal for Korean BBQ. Obviously it’s up to you to prepare the food well, but the food comes ready to be prepared well. Great place, we will definitely be back!
