**3/5/19 12:11AM** THIS PLACE BOGGLES MY MIND!! 5 check stands closed and I pay $120/year for this garbage??? **2/10/19 11:11AM** Who Is Running This Costco?!?! Hopefully NOT Arlene, as I've already read Other reviews in which her Customer Service skills appear to leave Much to be desired. Whoever is Running THIS Costco is not only running it backwards, but straight into the ground!!! Let's start with the good, cause We All know a Google Review in Many cases is written due to dissatisfaction. Most that are Satisfied are Happy and leave well enough alone. David in the Tire Center! Excellent Employee, Not only in his job, but his Awesome interaction with Customers. Mike in the Red Vest, working his butt off to clear the lines and make it happen for Costco Customers. Teresa, although I didn't interact with her today, needs to be brought back to the service desk in front, as Sadly some of those ladies need a role model when it comes to customer service and just basic interaction skills. Now the bad... There are certain employees, we won't mention any names, but they know who they are, that Just aren't cut out for a Customer Facing Position. I mean, some people just can't do it. Maybe a desk job somewhere filing or sorting would be better served by these individuals. I'm just saying based on My Interaction and what I have witnessed first hand. Something minor, but maddening just the same is that the Food Product by Sukhi is Still available for purchase. However just Protein Only. What happened to the Rice? Yes, I know I have some love handles and can lose a little weight from my belly, but are you Now forcing Me on an Atkins/Keto style diet by Not carrying a Staple Indian Starchy Carb? Get us that Aromatic Basmati or Jasmine Rice made by Sukhi or Anyone else, for that matter. We Love Our Carbs! I, along with the person following me, picked up the Chicken Tikka Masala and put it back when we couldn't find the Rice to go with it; so in a matter or 1 minute, you lost 2 sales! I'll end it with my last Pet Peave. It Is nearly 2020, Costco!!! For a Club that is Huge on Electronics, Don't make us Peons and the Vast Majority of your employees go without Wifi Service! Are you the Gestapo or something?? Just allowing the Upper Management to have access to Wifi, is Ridonculous! So they can Tweet, SnapChat, or Facebook away while the customers and the Hard Working employees suffer without? I can walk into almost ANY Other Big Box Store and they're Not Only Begging me to use their Wifi, my phone Automatically connects to it! Check out Sam's Club with their Scan and Go, perhaps something Costco may look at in the next Decade or so? How Much would it cost you to set up a Local WiFi Network accessible to your Customers and Employees. You lost out on 3 'Big Ticket' purchases from Me alone (because I couldn't do the research I Needed to) never mind the half a dozen or so smaller purchases because of No access the internet. Wake up and smell the Coffee!! Which leads me to my closing. I waited along with At Least 50+ customers in Disneyland Style lines just to check out, while Various Upper Management looked on, not really caring too much. Due to Not being able to locate an item I needed, Mike took it upon himself to make the Long Trek to the back of the store to retrieve the items. I inadvertently left my Coffee Mug at a register that was closed. Upon reaching my car, I realized my mistake. I went back 3 minutes later to recover my irreplaceable Mug and it was gone. Mike put out an APB over the walkie talkie system, but to no avail. In 3 minutes a Very Reconizable (Starbucks January) Coffee Mug can disappear inside Costco? MIND BLOWN!!

Costco Wholesale is a great place to shop and buy almost everything. They mostly are geared for large Families and Businesses. Product Quality are excellent. Quantities are sometimes too large for small Families and Businesses. Good value overall. Costco stands behind their products. Epic customer service and staff. Never disappointed or dissatisfied. Every location is the same. A very well managed company. Inexpensive whole or by the slice pizzas for all Costco customers.

Earlier in the day I placed an order to buy a few pizzas thinking that I want have to wait in any long lines, or at least hoping that they would already be done and ready for pick up.... boy was I Wrong. So if your thinking about calling and ordering pizzas. Keep in mind that there is no difference whether you put you order in or not. Because you end up waiting with everybody else anyways. Other than that the pizza is still delicious 😀

update 4: they denied me returning spoiled fruit and then informed me they informed me last time I was there i agreed to lose my ability to refund at costco. which was a lie because i went over to Pacoima and got my refund no problem. The manager Jesse at Pacoima said to refer to his well ran costco in reference to the bad gm and Tony who treat me poorly and claim to have the authority to take away my ability to return food. i will talk to corporate about this one and we will see what happens...

update 3: i had a bad incident with the head manager last night thurs sept 14th. She is nothing short of mentally ill, rude, unprofessional, and it is clear she is to blame for much of my discomfort at this location. She flat out contradicts herself and acts like its the end of the world over nothing when she is 100% violating costco policy. she tried to lie and say my reciept wasn't in the system but backpettled once i threatened to call corporate or go to Pacoima to get my business done. she absolutely is not qualified to deal in customer service, and she needs to be retaught the costco policy and stick to it or be removed from positions where she can violate policy. i wont even get started on her underlings who spout nonsense that violates policy then argue more once faced with the truth. they rapidly change topics and dont even attempt to defend their insanity. corporate! im so beyond disappointed and i expect immediate action!!

update 2: honestly this place is improving. i still feel like they are skimping on the registers. flat out there is a whole other tier of costco above this one. i want all costcos to feel perfect like the best ones. obviously the solution is open a Valencia costco or expand the store or put less stuff inside. its just uncomfortable in all the los angeles costcos. obviously i dont believe the management is evil, im just annoyed because i would do better as manager.

update: they finally cary gallon sized water. however the rest of my complaints hold true.

original: I'm being completely accurate and fair to say this is the worst costco I've ever been to. They profile customers and only ask some based on how they look for ID, they lie and say they ID all the customers.

They ALWAYS have 5 or more closed check outs to save money while better costcos get you in and out with more check outs.

They refuse to cary Kirkland Gallon sized no matter the number of requests.

They try to force you to get cash cards instead of cash or debit, even if its not a credit purchase. Other costcos know how much money I spend and they always offer debit back. this one claims they are preventing "abuse" because visa asked them to.

They always have mislabled products and i repeatedly reported this only to be met with employees acting like they don't care. if i find someone who pretends to care they still dont fix the labels and act annoyed that i call them out.

overall its clear the management is to blame. i cant understand what they have to gain, i doubt they make money off of any of these negligent behavior patterns. the only thing that makes sense is that they like to torture the employees and customers rather have a sense of love for fellow humans.

please...

Horrible experience with Angie (Angelica) over in returns at the Santa Clarita Costco. My mom, who is a Costco member, gifted me a bag of sweets to keep at my desk. The return value was only $10 for two bags. I'm trying to cut down on sugar, so I did not even open the bags with the intent to return it. My mom lives far from Costco and wasn't feeling well, so I offered to return the sweets she gifted me. Upon return, Costco employee Angie asked me if it was my Costco membership I was returning on. Of course, I was honest and explained the situation. I told her no, it was not, but I'm not purchasing anything, just returning a gift. She took joy in telling me I could not return any gift from a member and was argumentative. I even told her she could credit the return back to my mom's card on the receipt, and she vehemently said no. I asked to speak to her manager, who finally budged and allowed the return. He even told Angie to give me cash back. Of course, she did not, and the credit went back to my mom's credit card. Which was fine by me, since it was my mom's money. I was just appalled by her passive-aggressive way of dealing with guests while on the job. Anyhow, I gave my mom her card back with the receipt for return so she can verify it went back to her card, and that was the end of it, or so I thought. I was just informed by my mom that Angie had my mom's Costco membership blocked! She also LIED and stated I was trying to use the card for purchase. We still have the receipt of return that clearly indicates returning a measly bag of $10 sweets with Angie's employee ID. If Costco's policy is not to allow one to return a gift from a member, then legally, that should be stated to all Costco members, so they only purchase goods for themselves. Also like to note, that anyone can buy alcohol at Costco without membership AND if you have a Costco giftcard (which I had, just didn't let rude Angie know) you can shop at Costco as a non-member. But I'm to believe Angie when she tells me that Costco won't allow non-members to return gifts. What happens when Christmas rolls around? Is Angie at the Costco in Santa Clarita going to blow a gasket! 🤣 Please Costco train and educate your combative employees, like Angie, to do better. Meanwhile, I'll enjoy my membership at Sam's Club. Where I know I can gift my family and friends stuff, they can return without being treated so poorly by...
