Normally this place is busy and packed. But I wasn’t so surprised by situation today.
Called in an order. Came out to $140 so not a small order. Was told it will be ready on an hour. I said great since I was driving home from work.
Get to Sushi 611. Order is ready. Great. I pay. The guy at the register gives me to bags of food. I made sure to ask if it was everything since it looked small for my order. He firmly reassured me that it was everything I had order. Being on the road for almost 2 hours I take his word and go home (he knows better.).
I get home. My wife starts to unpack to my family can have late dinner (6:20pm) half my order is missing. I called restaurant and they inform me that I was not given the 3rd bag and if I wanted the food. What would have happened if I said no would I have gotten a refund ??? I’m irritated already. Hopped back into my car and drove back to restaurant.
Different cashier at the register. Told her that I was here for the rest of my food. Seemed to me that customers don’t really matter since she kind of was laughing that my order was messed up.
Best part no one really said sorry for wasting your time.
Thanks.
Oh the original guy that gave me my food. Looks at me and just keeps chatting with other customer. But gave me a look like I was wasting his time.
Got home.
Still missing 1 appetizer…… will not refund said got store credit for next time I order. So out $10
Anyways tried the food. It’s bland. No flavor at all. The salmon bentos are dry and burnt. Will post picture. Unagi dons are mostly fat and eel skin with many little bones. Spicy tuna tempura roll didn’t have any flavor at all.
Hopefully it was just a bad kitchen day. Since it was a good sushi...
Read moreI think tonight was the worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant. We expected a wait as it's a small place but we waited quite a while for someone to take our order after we got our drinks. We watched the table next to us, that was seated just after us, start receiving dishes before we even got to order. My wife and I ordered all you can eat sushi, one son ordered ramen and the other ordered a bento box. The bento arrived first and in a reasonable amount of time. Then the ramen arrived a couple minutes later. My sons were about half done with their food when our first order of sushi arrived, a single order of albacore. It was very good. A few minutes later the other 2 orders of sushi arrived. At that point an employee stopped to say that the 4 rolls we ordered would be coming out soon. Ten minutes later, my sons were finished and we still hadn't gotten our rolls. I went up to the front and asked for the check for the food we had received. Several minutes later the owner or manager came over and stated that he had no excuses and apologized for our dinner being ruined. He said he would not charge us for anything. I appreciated the gesture but the damage was done. I will never go back. I was seated in the corner, facing the dining room so I was able to make eye contact with every employee many times and not once did anyone come over and offer an explanation. The two different people that brought my son's food knew that we were missing the rest of our order but did nothing about it. The ramen was flavorful and the bento was good but I can't imagine an experience being any worse. By the time we left it had been nearly an hour since we were seated and still hadn't...
Read moreVery poor service !!!!! Two days in a row!!!First day figured it was normal because valentine’s day. Came with an 8 mo old and 3 year old ( my husband worked) Took over an hour to seat us. Next day came back for friend bday. Took over an hour to seat us being first in waiting list. When we first walked in a large family said we can have the table. Thought would be quick because they were ready for bill. That family sat there for over 40 min!!!! Let me tell you when you have toddlers and a baby your time is minimal before next feeding or nap. When you come with your kids fed and napped hopefully you can enjoy a meal in peace think wrong. you will sit there waiting for table for two hours by the time your kids done running laps outside. And the waiter knew minimal english. took multiple times to ask for a fork. A toddler cannot use chopsticks. asked for fork and knife and spoons. Takes like 30 min to get their attention to get utensils. Not totally blaming on language barrier. more on inattentiveness to service. Sorry not trying to be Karen but this place was beyond ridiculous and poor in service. If you are owners reading this don’t blame your cooks. food was on time. It’s the servers and hostesses. POOR SERVICE. And lazy Also asked them to acknowledge bday and asked if they could sing and bring dessert (!would of paid extra…… nothing. at that point of being there over two hours ready to leave. You need to hire better help. your business is suffering from your low staffing...
