I ordered an Old Town kayak from Kayak Connection back in August when most other stores weren’t allowing orders from Old Town due to the backlog of orders that Old Town couldn’t keep up with due to supplier issues. Dave from Kayak Connection has amazing customer service skills. He would respond to my questions quickly and even outside of business hours. He kept me up to date by reaching out to Old Town frequently for updates. In the end, the Old Town kayak order kept getting delayed due to supplier issues related to demand caused by COVID. I was able to cancel my order, totally hassle free and got a full refund. Dave didn’t hesitate to offer a refund and was very understanding. We had the most excellent and wonderful fishing kayak adventure! Our guide Cody was knowledgeable, fun, adventurous, and well-prepared. My partner and I had never been on a kayak before, and with our guide we didn’t feel scared or intimidated in the slightest. We went about a mile out, and caught some pretty amazing fish— rock cod, croakers, and even a huge halibut. Our guide brought fresh squid, he baited our hooks for us, and shared all his experience of how to feel the sea floor, what to look out for, and where we should move next. Cody even cleaned our fish and cut filets for us! I loved our fish adventure so much and would highly recommended for beginners and more experienced alike. Don’t forget your sunscreen!!!...

I'm from Philadelphia visiting some friends on the West Coast and decided to try kayaking! I was honestly nervous, it was my first time and I thought I wouldn't be any good or get stuck/fall in! I met with Heather who was so sweet and welcoming! She helped me feel at ease and I felt confident kayaking after she taught me. I would go kayaking here again in a heartbeat. I only did an hour today, but I'm so excited to go back and do it again for longer! I saw a sea lion napping on a boat and every person I saw on a boat waved and said hello, super friendly! 10/10...
