I came to visit from Connecticut to visit some family, and I love to walk around and see all the antique stores and clothing stores that are here in California. This was also the first time I’ve ever been to Santa Cruz. So, I walked into this store and I was interested in looking around. Now to mention, I have a backpack on and I have it on because I was buying things and wouldn’t be able to fit them into a purse. Also to top it off my backpack has NEVER been an issue in any other store in California. I walk in and I ask to borrow an outlet because my phone was on 10%. I asked her (The Owner) if I could charge my phone and while it was charging I can look inside the store browse around. She mentioned she was having “electrical issues” and said had asked me to move aside after I had already moved aside. I felt awkward just standing there so I said “it’s honestly no big deal”, so I walked to the back of the store and was minding my business and looked at the stuff in the back. She came to the back I believe to help a customer, and said “excuse me, haha your backpack”, with attitude in her tone. Mind you there was college kids in there with backpacks on and she wasn’t bothering them! I walked out and couldn’t believe how snobby she acted. So to gather this up, the owner was EXTREMELY RUDE, she could have handled this in a WAY nicer way. You do not ever treat your customers and guest like this. Or tourist! I hope your business treats you like you treat...
