Comicopolis — Local services in Santa Cruz

I love Comicopolis! I live a couple of hundred miles away so I don't get to visit as often as I'd like but you can bet I keep my comic book fund handy whenever I know I'm making a trip up the coast. The store itself is super clean and organized, with the shelves jam packed with amazing books (and games!). One of the owners, Troy (we haven't met the other one), is super friendly and welcoming as well as suuuper knowledgeable regarding all things comics. He always takes the time to help each and every customer find exactly what they're looking for and he always has awesome suggestions.

My partner and I have been loyal customers of comicopolis for 5 ish years now and have no intent to stop because we love giving our business to a shop that's owned by true comic book nerds who love what they do.

I'm give this store two stars because it is well stocked and it has a variety of books and everything anyone needs it was great to see but when my daughter and I walked into the store the gentleman behind the counter smiled at her and said hello and when I walked up behind her I also greeted him but he wasn't friendly towards me; I'm a big fan of The Walking Dead books and was excited to see the variety and up-to-date books he had but when I walked up to the register I found that he left the register to walk to the back to follow me on the store camera. Stopped by while I was in town sightseeing. They seemed to have a decent selection of new Comic books. Didn’t notice a whole bunch of back issues but was primarily after board games. Board game selection was nicely organized with enough choices that I was able to add something to my robust collection.
