Toque Blanche — Local services in Santa Cruz

I wanted a Zyliss salad spinner with the pull cord. Ordered it first from Zyliss directly -- in July! It is now nearly October and the thing is still back ordered. Tried to order it from Amazon, but no luck there either. At least they let me know of the delay and gave me the opportunity to cancel my order. Then I discovered Toque Blanche (by web searching on Google) and found that the price they wanted was almost twice what I would have paid at the other sources. Stuck at home, really wanted this product, so gave up paid the money to Toque Blanche to send me the Zyliss salad spinner I wanted so much! Well, it was worth the money. They kept in touch about my order from the order placement all the way through delivery, which was a total of 3 days. No back order, no argument. Good service, packaging was great (and biodegradable, I might add), the spinner is in pristine condition, and I could not be happier. Great place to buy your cooking tools on line. You may pay more but you will get a new item in good condition that has not been shopped and it will be delivered within a reasonable (or better) amount of time. Recommend...

I have nothing but love for this company! Truly a great experience. I live very far from their store, so I only learned about them online, after looking for non toxic cookware, and I stumbled upon their line of Chamba clay pots and utensils. The customer service that I recieved from Mr. Charles Nelson, the store owner (a fact that he never personally even mentioned to me), after inquiry after inquiry from me about this line, from tips, to putting a set together, to working together through distressing issues not caused by the company itself, to information on how to use and care for my order, was phenomenal and is unfortunately rare these days and must be shared. And because of Mr. Nelsons patience and amazing service, I was able fo find the best prices on these pots, and now have the confidence to use them. Quite possibly the best Customer Service experience I have ever had!! Had an issue with a one of my La Chamba cookware pieces, Ok, I dropped and broke the lid into a zillion pieces. I contacted Toque Blanche and they went out of their way to forward me to a contact at the factory where they item was replaced! No charge, just paid a nominal shipping fee from Santa Cruz to Socal. Reps from both divisions were super friendly and knowledgeable, especially "Sean" from La Chamba imports.
