Circus Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Santa Fe Springs

Judging by the location, the emptiness of the place, and the quietness of the kitchen, I couldn't help but assume that this restaurant doesn't get much attention.

I still gave it a try. The lady who took my order was really sweet, and her reccomendation of a BLT was spot-on. I waited no longer than 5 minutes for my sandwich, if that. The bread was the real star-I had the softest, tastiest multigrain bread I've ever eaten in my entire life.

The thing about this place is that it's surrounded by soulless, corporate buildings on all sides. It's hidden behind a bank and shares a parking lot with corporate offices. I doubt anyone in the area is actually looking for food, which is the sad part. The quality of the food I had was on-par with many chains that do well purely due to the location.

I will be reccomending this place to anyone in the area. I hope it builds a name for itself to overcome the crappy location.

We tried this place out because I was craving a good soup and sandwich. I also stopped because of the good reviews but I’m really confused. Yes they do make fresh bread there however the bread we all had was dry and crumbly like it was missing ingredients? The lettuce they used was not up to par and my daughter’s bacon looked kinda crazy. About a week old or something. I didn’t end up ordering a soup because the lady seemed stressed out taking our order, and I wanted to try the sandwich first But I ended up being really disappointed. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME/and MONEY.. I believed the reviews, and was terribly disappointed. I think they should probably stick to the type of foods they're used to making, because clearly, they have no idea what a BLT, tastes like. Its unfortunate this shop is in a business area, so employees from the surrounding businesses have no choice but to eat here, if they don't want to drive too far out.
