My wife called in the order 20 minutes before I got there. I had a chicken sandwich and she had a chicken salad. When I arrived there was no one in line. I paid and was directed to go out on the patio where it was raining. They took out all the seating in the restaurant so patrons had to wait in the rain with no awning when they could have waited inside and social distance. I waited... and waited. I asked the manager where my food was. He said asked for my name and said let me check. Never came back. I asked him again. Never came back. I asked a food runner and she told me we were waiting on the salad. The SALAD! I don't work there but seriously all you have to do is throw some lettuce in a bowl with tomatoes and cut up a chicken breast and throw it on top. I was patient. But to wait another 20 minutes in the rain for a salad after an order had been called in 20 minutes before that is completely unacceptable. I finally was able to get my order and drove 5 minutes to my wife's work and had lunch with her. My chicken sandwich tasted great but was cold. Like no warmth whatsoever. It was apparent that my sandwich was ready way before the salad was. I don't understand their operation. I understand it was lunchtime but to have the service and experience I had was completely unacceptable. On top of that my food was cold. I won't be going back to try the Habit...
Read moreIn regards to our recent situation with COVID-19, I like others have been very respectful to the Habits policies but that was not the case yesterday when a sheriff stood in line without a protective face covering on his face. When the store manager asked him to put one on, he refused and stated he had a medical issue. First off, any business has the LEGAL right to refuse service to ANYONE who refuses to abide by any store policy. Secondly, this sheriff waited a whole 5 maybe 10 mins for his order so what health issue was he at risk of because I've seen ambulances and police respond to a 911 call and have taken up to 30 minutes to arrive on scene. And 3rd, why is he in law enforcement if he can't meet the physical requirements. So I want to know why The Habit is posting a sign by their door that reads "No Mask, No Service"? The cashier still took the sheriff's order and he went happily on his way. If this sheriff was a civilian I bet money you guys would of refused service. Let's be real people! If your gonna be one way with one customer, you gotta be the same across the board with everyone otherwise it's called discrimination.. other then that, my food was great! So 4 stars to the food! I will not be back since you can't keep me safe during...
Read moreI got the patty melt and the Parmesan garlic fries. I wanted to get their patty melt and try it before they are gone because it’s a limited time only. I got the order to go. When I got into the car, I opened it up just to look to see how it looked and I could see that the sandwich was small. The bread was grilled, but it was already kind of soggy. The french fries were meh, a little sprinkling of Parmesan and they did give a little container of garlic sauce, but the fries were not even hot by the time I got to the car, they were sad. By the time I got home 15 minutes later, I could see this was not a great patty melt because we’ve eaten there before I expected a lot better. The meat was dry. I had to put the sandwich in the air fryer to crisp up the bread a little bit not a lot of flavor for me for the patty melt it was a fail. it was $14 for the meal, and it was forgettable. Service is...
