Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Santa Maria

Let me first say yeah that I am a huge fan of Dutch Bros and never had anything but great experiences in any state and any town we’ve visited.

We have two Dutch Bros in town and this is my first time at our newest location.

I waited, without a line, for 12 minutes at the walk up counter because as usual, the drive-through line was long (which I expect and don’t mind). I finally popped my head into the window and the employee working the drive-thru said she was the only one there and needed to take a few more cars orders before she could get to me.

I decided to go .2 miles around the corner to Starbucks, which was staffed with 6+ people, got my order placed immediately and served.

I had heard negative feedback about this Dutch Bros location, but thought those must be flukes. I may try going again, but not sure, especially when there are so many other...

The staff here are all very friendly and upbeat. They do a great job taking your order and always get it right. They are excellent at suggesting new drinks to try and if you don't like it, they'll remake the drink.

Sometimes the drive thru line is out into the parking lot and I will opt to order at the window. When this happens, I am often told the wait will be just as long as if I had waited in the drive thru which doesn't make sense to me. Hopefully in the near future they can fix that so it doesn't keep happening because it can sometimes be a 20 minute wait or longer.

Other than that, no complaints here at all. They are usually always very efficient and friendly which makes for a good atmosphere when waiting for...

I don't know where to begin with this location. They are simply the best. I don't drink coffee that often but whenever I get the craving this is my spot. Everyone here is amazing no matter what time of day you go. They fulfill on every level of customer service you could ask for. I always look forward to my interactions with the employees and they really make a difference in the process. Everyone is extremely friendly and wants to engage in conversation. That is so rare these days and it really makes them stand out above everyone else. Coffee is fantastic but their customer service is top notch. Do your research, ditch Starbucks and celebrate the companies that are doing things the correct way. Couldn't...
