Not sure why people are giving this BRAND NEW store such horrible reviews for what seems like hiccups and growing pains. New employees are learning and training and should be allowed some grace. I’ve been in three times now and everyone is always kind, friendly, willing to help, and HUSTLING!! Last night I place an order online about 3 hours before closing to pick up when I got out of work. When I got there there was quite a few people waiting, but hey it’s a busy Friday night. Someone was out front and letting everyone know what was going on….they were out of a couple cookies but trying to make more but it was going to be a while. The two flavors I really wanted were the ones that were sold out. I asked if they would have them back in stock tomorrow and she said yes. They offered to cancel my order and get me a refund and told me they would have more in the morning. Went back first thing this morning like they suggested and it was the same thing. Their bakers were HUSTLING and working hard. Spoke to the owner who explained they had an oven fire last night and she apologized. I told her there was nothing to apologize for, accidents happen! I couldn’t get what I wanted then so I came back this morning. Everything looks amazing. People don’t give Starbucks a bad review cause they are busy in the mornings and out of a specific milk or a flavoring. Why are people giving one star reviews for a BRAND NEW business - unique and the only one in a two hour radius- that is running out of flavors because everyone is excited for the new business. Or when an order placed in advanced isn’t boxed immediately and out to sit on a shelf for two days. Their cookies are made to order and warm (for the most part) so that you get the freshest possible experience. They can’t possibly know they are going to run out two days later. They are still trying to learn what their demand is and how much product to have on hand. They have secured my business, that’s for sure. Keep it up Santa Maria...
Read moreIt was 8:10am, I stood waiting outside locked doors, being respectful that they might be a little late opening, it happens, its a new store, they deserve some grace. But i stood there for 10 minutes and no one addressed me. Until someone who came after me was impatient and was knocking on the door wondering when they would open. They ignored her and pretended not to see her through the glass for a bit. They eventually opened the door, until she started being more aggressive and trying to talk to them through the door. They opened the door and flatly stated " we are not open." It was 8:20am... so we asked when? They said not for another half hour.... I was just shocked that they were just going to let us stand there without addressing us for 50 minutes had the lady not said anything. And they blatantly were acting annoyed with potential customers. Needless to say, I didn't get to try any of the cookies. The one star is for the horrible communication and the bad...
Read moreThe cookies are good but they are a bit pricey. they are more of a 3 1/2 star because although they are good I have received a cookie that was still raw in the middle and had to throw it away which at $4 a piece was a pricey throw away. Another time instead of receiving chocolate chip I received something else that had chocolate chips in it. Although it was good it wasn’t what I had exactly ordered. Yes they do have you look at it but your really just giving it a quick glance not actually examining them. I didn’t feel like driving all the way back to have it corrected. These cookies are on the softer side of cookies not crispy if you are particular about your cookies. They are definitely worth giving a try once. The s’more cookies have been the...
