Macy's — Local services in Santa Maria

I had such a OUTSTANDING SHOPPING EXPERIENCE AT MACY’S SANTA MARIA!!!! First of all, Vanessa in the fragrance/cosmetic department went above and beyond to help me with a purchase and renewing my Macy’s charge card in record time!!!! Before she had arrived for her shift, all the ladies in fragrance were so cordial and also tried to help me, making my experience in cosmetics so exceptional that I bought Vanessa, and her colleagues a box of cookies at the mall bakery! I proceeded to the mattress department where David helped me with purchase of a mattress, bedding, and other items making that shopping experience a quick breeze! He scheduled the mattress delivery, and pickup for the upcoming week, which went so smoothly and perfectly that I have never had a better experience!!!! While walking into the bedding department with David, the store manager Sara overheard our conversation about mattress covers and she recommended the best mattress cover ever! Thank you Store Manager Sara! The delivery team of Christian and his crew were on time, brought the new mattress and took away the old one in less than ten minutes! I have been a Macy’s shopper since 1982 when my significant other took me to Carmel for my first Macy’s experience…and have maintained a long, happy and productive relationship with so many Macy’s since then!

I turned my mom onto it when in New Orleans and some of our best times together before she died were at Macy’s! The Clinique Counter at Macy’s was always our go to spot to meet up for years if we went to different departments! My daughter and I have carried on that tradition over the years!

I became an online shopper during the height of the Pandemic but back to in-store again! I love their coupons, their sales, the service and the choices. I’ve learned about Macy’s Backstage and some of the deals in those departments are incredible!

I never found a Macy’s I did not like to be totally honest! When some of my favorite, smaller Macys were forced to close I suffered anticipatory grief and post-closure sadness as I am a creature of habit, as well as getting to know many staff well, also long timers!

Outstanding management team and customer service. I've always had top notch experiences at this Macy's even over some of the larger stores in bigger cities. Ive even had an employee get me a chair to wait in line and then ring up lots of product in the clothing dept bc I was on crutches. Not necessary, and I had refused, but it sure was nice to sit down after overshopping on crutches (not recommended, but sometimes you just have to get out in covid times!) I'd rather shop at this Macy's than others bc I know the customer service element is there and not always at other locations. You can also do online ordering and have it shipped to your house or do curbside pickup if you'd rather have more social distancing. They are very good at keeping the store clean and maintaining high standards of covid protocol in order to make you feel safe as a...
