I've never felt more compelled to warn potential customers about the abysmal service and downright disrespectful attitude of the employees at the 7-Eleven located at 630 Wilshire Blvd in Santa Monica, CA. As a resident of this upscale neighborhood, I am appalled by the lack of professionalism and basic human decency exhibited by the staff, particularly one individual who stands out as the epitome of incompetence and rudeness.
Let's start with the main offender: an employee whose demeanor makes it abundantly clear that customer service is not just low on his priority list, but completely nonexistent. Unfortunately, the photo I'm attaching is not from my own experience but from another complaint, yet it perfectly encapsulates the essence of this employee's atrocious behavior. This individual consistently treats patrons like trash, exuding an aura of disdain that is palpable from the moment you walk through the door.
This employee seems to have mistaken Santa Monica for Compton, as his attitude would be more fitting in a neighborhood devoid of basic civility. In an area known for its affluence and tourism, one would expect a modicum of respect and courtesy towards customers. Instead, what we get is a sour-faced individual who seems to derive pleasure from making people feel unwelcome.
Adding insult to injury, this 7-Eleven has become a magnet for homeless individuals, further exacerbating the already dismal atmosphere. As someone who frequents this establishment solely for the purpose of purchasing lottery tickets, I find myself increasingly reluctant to subject myself to such deplorable treatment.
In conclusion, I implore the management of this 7-Eleven location to take swift and decisive action to rectify this situation. Customers deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their background or socioeconomic status. Until such changes are implemented, I will be taking my business elsewhere, and I strongly advise others to...
Read moreIt has been 4 years since my last review. I would like to add an additional Star as of Wednesday June 25th 2025. The management and employees have worked hard to improve the story experience and make things better. One thing I'd like to point out is that this particular 7-Eleven has not raised its prices like the other 7-Eleven on Santa Monica and 16th. This particular store has maintained the lower prices and it's a better 7-Eleven.
I'd like to update my rating, and thank the owner for reaching out to me and apologizing. Also encouraging me to contact customer service. I did go in today and the customer service was...
Read moreViolent, rude, unprofessional, angry cashier. I tried to redeem my reward points the scanner was faced downward and would not scan my phone, so I used my hand to lift scanner upward towards my smartphone. The cashier VIOLENTLY grabbed my wrist and the cashier Yelled "NEVER TOUCH!" I have never been assaulted by a customer service person before. I will likely never forget this horrifying experience. I'm not sure how business is done in Middle East or India but in America cashiers do not use physical assertion towards customers. Totally...
