We payed in cash (with a $20) with the attendant to save a trip walking up the kiosk, then back to the car to display the ticket. However, when she handed us our change (a $5 bill) she didn't give us a ticket. We realized this after entering the lot. So we trek back up to the attendant booth. I told her we had not received a ticket and we're worried about a citation. She told us that wasn't possible as everyone who pays cash gets a receipt. We affirmed that we DID NOT receive a ticket/receipt and she became incredibly belligerent with us. It's been quite a day so we paid again (at a kiosk) and we just wanted to relax at the beach.
