Had a weird experience. We rented the bikes for $10/hour. It comes with no bike locks, helmets, etc. and one of the bikes was not in the best condition since the chain was loose - I had to fix it often on the side of the road. Made for a pretty stressful experience as we felt rushed to get back in time or we'd get charged a late fee.
I told this to the bike rental attendant at the time and he mocked me for being able to fix the chain ... strange. I recently went snorkeling and cut myself on the reefs in Hawaii, and my wound opened up. The bike attendant mentioned that it looks like I fell - not sure how this was even relevant to the problem - and proceeded to give me a wet wipe for my "troubles"; again pretty unprofessional.
I've never had such a strange and somewhat unpleasant experience. For people reading this review, please ensure that your bike is in the best condition before renting. Or else you'd end up in a stressful situation trying to get the bike...
Read moreDon’t recommend coming here! I don’t know if the employee was having a bad day or something but incredibly rude. I Arrived to this location with friends from NYC and was excited to go bike riding however upon arriving, we didn’t even get to the chance to even say a word to him & he just said “we don’t have a trailer!” (in a rude way) (he assumed we were going to go bike riding with my puppy as he saw her stroller, but we were going to leave her with other friends). The employee refused to hear us out and went back to talking to his conversation with his friend. Very rude customer service, if you hate your job you should go look for another one then ! This is not how you treat paying customers that come across the country to have a fun experience ! Maybe it’s because we are Hispanic ? And this is how he treats us? Attached is the photo of him , should get fired or look for another job ! Instead go to the other rental bike near the bridge they...
Read moreMichelle made our Santa Monica beach day absolutely stress-free! She helped us via email before the trip - explaining everything we needed to pre-order and guiding us to the perfect spot. We stayed on the South Side near the pier (a 10-minute walk from the Hilton), close to Muscle Beach, a lifeguard stand, and public restrooms. Super convenient, especially since I had two kids and two older family members with me.
The setup was perfect: reclining chairs, umbrellas, and a sectioned-off area with an unobstructed view. We brought our own cooler, and the boogie boards that came with the setup were a huge hit with the kids! We also added towels - they were large and great quality.
Everything was simple: just sent a quick text when we were done. Highly recommend if you want a comfortable, hassle-free beach day. Excellent service from...
