Saugatuck Drug Store — Local services in Saugatuck

This a great place to get away from the summer crowds if you're looking for a cool place to shop for something value-priced and/or to refresh at the lunch counter. We didn't know they had a counter until we walked to the back and were surprised to see an old-school counter with it's own door. We really appreciated the friendly & prompt service when we ordered ice cream and sundaes. They're also connected to another shop, so it's a good place to visit. Sure they have some kitschy souvenirs, but they have nicer options. And it's also a drug store so you can usually find...

The good things in this store were really good but everything else was just mediocre.

Pros: verrrry wide selection of home goods, medical care and self care. The little area in the back with the food, ice cream and sodas was wonderful. We tried one of the phosphates and I highly suggest it was delicious!!

Cons: the cute little resturaunt area is very hidden and secluded. The store products are very over priced and the vibe was very weird felt like the back...

It was evident my 5 year old daughter had to pee. I asked the, very nice, younger clerk if she could use their restroom. She said yeah and started leading me back to the bathroom, then a woman that was either a manager or owner came out and chastised the clerk about how they don't offer public restrooms and told us to find another place.
