Brought film in and was told a bunch of students had just dropped off film, and that the lady didn’t know how long it would take, maybe a week. I didn’t get any email after a week but decided I would wait a while longer because maybe they’re behind with the hurricane. Went in after 3 weeks and the lady was incredibly rude and told me she never told me it would be a week, despite my friend being with who was also there when she told me it would take at least a week. Don’t know why someone would blame the customer when multiple people know that’s what she said. There is absolutely no benefit for me to lie, why would I want to wait 3 weeks?? She told me I should have called after a couple days, but why would I do that if she told me a week?? I won’t be coming back. Overpriced as well. We were visiting Savanah for the weekend. Whenever I travel, I always make sure to find a local camera store and drop in. There's so few, I try to support whatever I come across. This was a nice little place. They have a good selection of film (35mm, 120, and 4x5; color, B&W, and slide) and some B&W developing/printing supplies (no C41 or E6 chemicals). They have some vintage bodies, lenses, and accessories. I chatted with a gentleman who worked there, he was super cool. I didn't find any gear that I had to have, so I grabbed some Cinestill 400D and some Ektar in 35mm. I did notice their developing and scanning prices - super reasonable. I couldn’t be more of thrilled with Bay Camera. I stayed here with family and bought and dropped in film. Both being very cheap. I cannot believe how high quality their work is and their products. Everything from the cameras to the services themselves. Every time I'm in the area I'm using Bay Camera. If you’re looking to develop your film trust these people.
