Omelette Cafe Savannah — Restaurant in Savannah

I enjoy eating at the omelette Café actually I think I eat there way too much, but if you like seafood, I highly recommend eating the shrimp and grits & They have a wonderful lunch menu as well. The Smothered shrimp and grits Come with brown gravy, onions and bell pepper on the grits and it’s absolutely delicious and one of my favorite breakfast meal there. I recently tried the fried flounder With grits, but of course I had to get them to add the brown gravy with onions and bell peppers because I was so used to eating the smothered shrimp and grits that way . I believe it’s the perfect Spot to go to any day during the week and weekend. you just need to get there before 2:00 PM because that’s when they close. I recommend getting up for your morning getting dressed and heading on over. The staff is friendly, and I always leave a nice tip because I always have nice people serving me. Thank You to the cooks, cashiers, waitress, and anyone there that makes my experience even better every time. I bring my whole family to dine in or take out.I really love eating...

Decided to try the salmon. I clearly asked if it's salmon like at a meat market, or salmon you make for breakfast at home(Black Top). Told at home, bet, I'll take it. Girls ordered chicken & waffles. One with wings, one with fingers. Sorry, as I type the unfiltered grease is making me cough because it's out in the dining area. BTW, no heat because if they turn it on they get real hot in kitchen. Most likely the worst breakfast I've ever had. Eggs, ordered over easy, were runny and watery. Grits, ordered with cheese, were roomtemperature with a slice of fake cheese thrown on top that wouldn't melt. Steak, ordered medium rare, was a small, overcooked, narrow strip of tough, chewy meat. Grilled shrimp were overcooked and tasteless. There was absolutely no seasoning at all on anything. The only good thing about the visit was the coffee and the Sprite. The service was baseline ok. Nothing to write home about. Not worth the tip we left. Homeless people standing around looking in the window at us while we tried to eat. They had the whole outside littered with cigarette butts and other filth. Apparently, no one at this location bothers or cares to keep the property clean or attractive.
