Today I went to return an oculus VR headset that I bought back in March of 2021. I didnāt realize it was past the expiration and thought due to Covid they would return it as a courtesy because of the pandemic, but no. I would have returned it sooner, but of course everyone in my house got Covid and we got it pretty bad, even hospitalized. We are fully vaccinated now, so I went to return the VR headset, mind you itās only been used once or twice and then I was too sick and didnāt have the time or energy to use it. When I got there, the associate said itās past the expiration, so no. I told him Iāve worked in retail so I totally understand return dates, but come on, there was a pandemic that killed so many people so I would have hoped that Target understood that, but no. He got his manager, his manager said āyeah thatās fine, just tell the other manager and itāll be fineā. I said thank you so much I appreciate it. The other manager that was supposed to come took a while to come, so there was someone behind me and I told the sales associate to just help them while we wait for the manager. He helped her and then the other manager never came. The same one came back and said āoh he never came?ā The associate said no. The manager asked me āyou never used this right?ā I said āI used it once or twiceā which is normal. He said āoh well since you used it, we canāt return it.ā Iām extremely upset and disappointed in the customer service I received. So youāre telling me no one has ever bought anything and didnāt try it at home? You canāt schedule when you get Covid in order to return an item. The item is brand new. I can understand if it was 1 year later, but no. if I would have lied, then I could have gotten my money back?! Iām sorry but I donāt lie, and I thought there would have been an understanding since I was courteous enough to not come when I could have spread Covid to everyone in target. So basically what I learned from target is, lie and youāll get your way. This was the worst experience Iāve ever had. Donāt shop at this location. Also, I contact the customer service phone number, spoke with Tim, no help either. He said he can give them ācoaching opportunitiesā, but itās up to that store. So whatās the point of an escalations department? I asked if someone can contact me back after this gets escalated, he said he canāt guaranteeā¦this is horrible customer service coming...

The area I was looking for this specific product was "in progress " of being relocated to the newer expanded section where the shelving was being arranged similar to other Target stores I recently visited. The newer look of merchandising the "beauty" section is very attractive and much easier to move around in. Well in this store, not all of the Neutrogena products had been moved so I had to look for where it was previously located only to find they were out. But along the way I noticed there were several end-cap displays that appeared "thrown together" and also several boxes opened/unopened of various other products that were not set aside properly so customers could walk around them safely or at all. I saw another customer, older and walking with a cane, who was literally "walking in circles" searching for a product like me except she could not maneuver past the boxes as I did. Outside of the experience I had in this one area, I was able to locate and purchase the other items on my list. Target is usually 5 stars for me, but not for this particular visit to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDo not order online for online pickup. I had placed an order on 10/04 for pickup on two items for youngest daughter (baby) who was sick. I ordered pedialyte and pedialyte popsicles. The order was not fulfilled within the two hour frame promised. I went to pull the items from the shelf to just get the order fulfilled faster. I was told by the rep behind the counter who was wearing a tank top that the two hour pick up was a minimum and that I would need to wait for the fulfillment team to pull the order. Or that I needed to cancel my order. To pay for it there. Since I had a vomitting baby at home waiting till the next day wasn't an option.
Fast forward to today. Since my order was via paypal I now have a pending charge from target sitting and waiting to be refunded until 11/04. Which so happens to be 1 day after Paypal's new implement policy.
There was no reason for any of this to have happened. I have pulled the items I needed previously when the order wasn't fulfilled in two hours as promised and the customer service rep has allowed it. I also know of two other stores that allowed it with other family members. I refuse to shop that store again and will be contacting...
