8/2025 Great Visit to Murdock’s We had a wonderful time at Murdock’s. The store is fun to explore with a wide variety of items, from souvenirs to unique finds. Everything was well organized and easy to browse, and the atmosphere was welcoming. A great stop to shop and enjoy, definitely worth a visit!

I received a prompt response from the store, really appreciate the level of customer service this location has, we do not have a resolution yet, but I'm confident they will take care of it. ** Love this store. Ordinarily I receive great service. I have no issues with staff or store in General. We went in yesterday to purchase a Gas Lawnmower, Dewalt 12AVP2RF039. I was greeted by a young man who asked if we needed help. I let him know what I was looking for and he promptly went to the back to locate it and put it on cart. This store is 30 minutes from us but we love shopping here. Upon returning home with new lawn mower and putting gas and oil in it, we realized the lawnmower was already broken. (Drive Housing). It's all plastic and the screw was over torqued by Dewalt's assembly team, the Lawn mower is fully assembled and only requires the handle to be screwed on. I called customer service in hopes they can just replace the part because its a cheap plastic piece that cost $28. They recommended I just return the lawnmower. So I'm supposed to take all the oil and gas out, put the 80LB mower back in my car and lug it into the store to return it, and then wait who knows how long to get it replaced. Right now I have a Dewalt clamp (the irony)holding the housing together to be able to cut my grass and I'm trying to get an answer from Dewalt and/or MTD (Company who makes Dewalt) on how to get them to cover the cost of replacement. Murdoch's is great and states they stand behind everything they sell, however Dewalt is not doing...

The store manager at the Schertz,Tx location is the most rude and disrespectful person I’ve run into in the sales and service business. I love the store and the staff are very friendly. Thankfully they don’t mimic his attitude. We went to the store 3 times to buy a riding lawnmower. The first time an employee said he’d have the manager call us because it would be a special order even though they are a carrier for the brand. We never got a call. The 2nd time we went in he was in the back but WOULD NOT come out and the LAST time he literally walked to the back and left after he was told he had a customer that needed to speak with him. I recently went back in with a friend and he was so rude when I asked if I could use my husband’s military discount (since the cashier recognized me as a frequent customer) and he said no. It put the cashier in an awkward situation and she apologized for his actions!! I found another ranch supply store a little further away and will drive the extra distance to buy from them. Much friendlier atmosphere!! Its a shame one person can make a negative lasting...
