Country Cupboard — Local services in Schwenksville

While visiting my friend who lives in the area, we made a stop in this shop before it closed last Saturday. I am SO glad we did! The gentleman who owns the shop was so friendly and we enjoyed speaking with him while we checked out with our wonderful items.

The hand poured scented candles are made by his wife (I believe he said she’s been making them for 50+ years) and they smell amazing! I got two each of three different scents. I’m currently enjoying the scent of spiced cinnamon (can’t remember the exact name of the scent) and looking forward to my cranberry one next! I also picked up some adorable wooden turkey and snowman plant stakes for myself and some family members. My friend got some cute tin lid ornaments, candles, a wooden cardinal plant stake and I got her a super cute standing wooden snowman and tree porch decoration (about 2ft tall). The standing wooden cutout decorations are hand made by a retired local artisan who used to make them for craft shows and now sells just in this store. I think my friend was going to return to get one of the big hanging bells he has displayed out front. Everything is incredibly well priced, so I definitely recommend you check it out and take home (or gift) some things!
