The Tattoo Shack — Local services in Schwenksville

I’m not even sure where to begin about the wonderful people that work this shop. I was a little frantic looking for a place to do a Friday the 13th tattoo just to tick it off my bucket list and I don’t think the universe could have manifested a better shop than this one. From their first email back to me saying they’d do whatever to fit me in, I felt some comfortable.

When I stepped in, I was greeted by a wonderful couple and their 1yr old and I instantly felt at home. And they treated me like a friend they’ve known their whole lives. They made me even more excited about the tattoo than I was and I didn’t even know that was possible.

They offered me a drink (water or soda) they asked me about my style and other tattoos I have, and I never talk about my personal life and yet here I was telling them everything. They got to know me, which made the tattoo even more personal.

This artist takes his time, he really gets into it and makes damn sure he does a great job and that you are at ease during the entire process. This was the most professional, yet homey experience I ever had. I will forever be a customer for as long as they offer...

My husband and I stopped in on Easter to take advantage of the holiday flash tattoo special and we were blown away by not only the shop but how our tattoos turned out. The artist took his time and made sure he communicated through each step. This man has crazy skill. I’ve gotten 5 tattoos from him now and a septum piercing. He’s amazing. Before the piercing he made sure I was aware of the process and what he was doing. He does a phenomenal job every time and always makes sure I’m happy and comfortable! I definitely recommend this shop!

UPDATE: We can’t stop going back! They keep adding to their flash book and drawing us back in with the great new designs but also how great each experience is. Julio takes great pride in his work and makes sure that each tattoo is perfect. He’s given us great advise on the placement of each tattoo and never disappoints. We’re always blown away by each tattoo.

The flash book has something for everyone but they’ve also added a book of tattoos from $100-250. We’ve got our eyes on a few of them as well and are planning on getting larger pieces once...

I have been here three times already and each time has been wonderful experience to the point that I REFUSE to go to any other shop. I stumbled on Julio’s Instagram for the tattoo shack one Saturday night and saw he did a flash sale on Sundays along with an appointment deal book for designs he wants to do. So I went in the next day and set up an appointment for my skull (which was out of his appointment deal book) and got a flash sale tattoo the same day. Julio was super sweet and informative and explained the whole process. I came in for my skull the next Saturday and it came out perfectly. I scheduled another larger piece for him to do and recently got my nose pierced by Cherry, who was just as sweet and informative as Julio, and another flash sale tattoo and yet another wonderful experience.
