This has been my go-to car wash since they've opened. The service is normally very friendly, and while it's obvious selling memberships is a large part of their business and the training the associates go through, I've never had anybody be over the top pushy about it.
As somebody who has been in sales, operations, and service for over a decade, I was disappointed with my interaction with the associate today.
He noticed I was previously a member and asked me if I wanted to sign up and get my wash for only $10, then immediately cancel. I politely declined and then he offered to give me a receipt showing it was cancelled. I declined again, noting that the first time that happened despite getting a receipt, I continued to get charged. He replied "for some reason I don't buy that." I again politely told him that's what happened and I don't want to sign up. He got snippy and said "if that was true, I wouldn't come back here again." I could have been petty and showed him my bank statements, but I wasn't trying to argue with a stranger.
The reaosn why I still came back is because of the consistent service and because it's convenient and more cost effectice for me to just pay the full price for a simple wash every few months without a subscription. After this interaction with the associate, it's clear that he does not understand sales and service, as his comments and attitude will now prevent me from coming back here again.
Sorry that you lost a loyal customer, but the guy working on March 8th at 2:25 pm needs some more training. NEVER disrespect the customer and tell them they're wrong. It's bad business, and hopefully management will use this review as a training...
Read moreI had the pleasure of visiting the Team Car Wash at 2510 US-22 in Scotch Plains, and I must say, Nick and Brian completely exceeded my expectations! From the moment I pulled in, they made the whole experience feel so laid-back and cool—it was like catching up with old friends, except they were also cleaning my car.
Not only were they super friendly, but they were also incredibly informative about their services and pricing. They took the time to explain the different options without making it feel like a hard sell, which I appreciated. The best part? When they ran into an issue with Apple Pay, instead of making it an inconvenience for me, they went above and beyond by offering a promotional rate as a gesture of goodwill. I mean, who does that anymore? Tremendous customer service like this is a rarity these days.
On top of that, Nick and Brian’s overall vibe was unmatched—chill, professional, and genuinely interested in making sure I had a great experience. My car looked fantastic when they were done, and I left feeling like I got way more than just a car wash.
If you’re looking for a place where the staff genuinely cares about their customers and takes pride in their work, this is it. Nick and Brian have definitely earned themselves a repeat customer. Thanks, guys, for making car...
Read moreBeware Car wash extremely inconsistent. Worst customer services in a long time. I sold my car and had a temp rental. When I went in my truck today the guy made a big issue even though I told him I sold my car I originally had on the membership. He decided to make an off color remark about the Porsche I had (which was a rental while my truck was getting worked on). Honestly corporate needs to do something about this worker on March 13th 2025 around 5:05PM (tall guy with glasses). Not only is his customer service horrible but this location is frequently not working or having issues and when I had my Porsche in the car wash it stopped half way through and no one apologized or anything. Luckily there was no damage to the car. After that customer service interaction I cancelled my membership immediately. Because I called Scotch Plains location 3 times and no one answered I had to call the Westfield location to have it cancelled. Maybe other locations are better but this put a bad taste in my mouth for this brand and I rather take my...
