Clark's Auction Company has proven to be the worst auction experience of my life! I have participated in auctions for around15 years and have never encountered such poor, uncommunicative customer service. No honor to guarantee your purchases here! They claim to be best auction house in Santa Cruz area (they posted this on their web site... no competition or just made up marketing?) Regardless, here is my experience last weekend... I registered with Auctionzip (an online platform) for a different auction almost a month ago. I participated in an auction immediately after, won some items, California Auction Company contacted me, I paid and picked up items; it was what I expected and it all went perfect. Excellent communication and I was happy. So... look at other auctions on the Auctionzip platform and I found items at Clark's Auctions I really wanted. As I was already registered to bid on Auctionzip and Clark's was one of the auction houses I was able to "favorite" mark items I wanted to bid on. Fast forward, Sat - Aug 17th - I get my reminder of favorites including a button to "place bid". The auction started at 3 and I also received 2 follow-ups directly to my phone reminding me to bid. My first item was coming up so I clicked the link and bid. It came up with messages "bid accepted" and also showed me as highest bidder. I see another item listed that I wanted as well so I bid on that but had some issues but finally it accepted my bid and I was high bidder. I left this screen up because I had some problems. I opened a new page on Clark's Auction and found my next item to bid. This time I got a message saying I needed to register to bid! I had already been successful in bidding and registered weeks before. I tried logging in again, it showed I was in but then continued to say I needed to register. Frustrated, I called Clark's (no answer so I left a message). Back to the site - I figured I would register to bid again to hopefully resolve. I registered and submitted. It takes me into a loop as though I didn't register and I am forced to register again! Once again, it takes me in a loop and back a third time saying I have to register! I register again and, finally, it gives me a new message saying registration is "pending". Result: I can't bid and all the items I was interested in have gone by while I was trying to get back to auction. Now super frustrated I call Clark's yet again - this time a guy picks up the phone. I try to get help and he basically brushes me off telling me I have to "text" my issue - he can't help. So I proceeded to send a detailed text as I was told to do. After my VM, and my detailed text I heard nothing back for a couple days so I followed up with them with an email as a last attempt. I also followed up with Liveauctioneers and Auctionzip since those are the platforms Clark's was using. It has now been a full week and I got a form letter e-mail response from Auctionzip "they got my email", I git a real response from Liveauctioneers who said "They can't control my other bid - just the ones on their platform and said I should contact Clark's! Of course, the only one I have heard NOTHING from IS Clark's after phone calls, text messages, and emails with supporting documentation (see photos - personal stuff smudged out). Clark's has been completely non-responsive! Maybe they will respond to this??

Working with Patty and her crew has been a great experience. Everyone is professional, efficient and very friendly. On top of all their other great qualities, honesty ranks number one! Patty and her crew packed up my items for auction. I sent a box of sterling silver flatware. Patty called and told me she found a diamond platinum watch inside. I didn't know it was there! We had a very successful auction and she will help me get my donations to charity. ...

The staff at Clark's are fantastic. We had the highest bid on 4 items from a estate auction. the staff were very thorough in explaining how the pick up would was organized. I went up to the line to give them my information, the woman at the table saw that I was using a cane and immediately found someone to take my items to my car. It was quite hectic that day, but the staff were helpful, kind and...
