We visited a number of senior independent living communities. There are more out there than we initially thought so this took time. Revel on Indian Bend in Scottsdale was the clear winner supporting our interests and needs.

Residents benefit from concierge, housekeeping and an in-house restaurant featuring a scratch cook kitchen. The chefs and servers work hard to recognize and meet different food preferences and alergy requests. You even get a monthly food budget that can be stretched to last the month.

There are a wealth of group and independent activities that can help keep residents mentally and physically busy and healthy. Use the pool and splash pad. Frequent transportation to stores, the mall, the library are only a few of destinations on the calendar.

Revel looks and feels like an upscale hotel. One of the strongest benefit are the super friendly and helpful staff and residents. You feel welcomed as soon as you step in the lobby.

We worked with Gwen and would highly recommend her. She now feels like a best friend. The other leasing agent also took time to make sure we had outstanding treatment.

I moved into Revel Scottsdale the month it opened in 2022. It was the best decision I could ever have made! The property is beautiful and well maintained, all the apartments are well appointed with many thoughtful details. The staff is terrific, from concierge to restaurant and maintenance to activities and management directors, every aspect of our living arrangement is covered. Having moved from out of state, I have made many new friends. Some neighbors have moved from out of state, like me, and others have moved from homes and condos only a short distance away. I had some very specific requirements when I searched for my new home and Revel Scottsdale had them all: 24/7 concierge, restaurant on site, activities director on staff, heated pool and spa, gym and full amenities. Revel checks ALL those boxes and then some! Just outside your door at all times of the day there are exercise classes, games, movies, musical performances, excursions and best of all FRIENDS who care that you are here and check on you when you're not! It has made my retirement and move to Scottsdale better than I ever hoped it would be! ...

Revel is such a incredible community! I work in the senior housing industry and I'm familiar with communities all over the valley. Although there are several communities to choose from, Revel is very unique. I often see younger, more active seniors move to communities that offer assisted living, in addition to independent living, and they are often disappointed. They feel they are not always compatible with other seniors on campus and end up feeling like they have to look after their neighbors as opposed to enjoying a vibrant lifestyle. Other times, seniors will say that they'll stay at home until they need assisted living. So there they stay...alone, bored, isolated. No friends, no fun, no social support. Eating frozen meals for one. It breaks my heart. I try to share with them that there is an amazing lifestyle waiting for them at Revel.
