Comfortable atmosphere. Terrible service. We reserved a 4 top table. A business affair, important clients, highly recommended by Albert & Diane from Simis Cafe in Gilbert. We were pleasantly greeted and sat. Emma, our server was trying to take the drink order before we could adjust ourselves in our seats. I asked if we could please have a minute to peruse the drink menu. This was the first of many eye rolls. I ordered the prawns with garlic sauce and broccoli, I informed Emma I had an aversion to onions & carrots, to please omit. I was served a heavy sauce covered in hot peppers, onions & carrots. I asked what it was she said sezchaun shrimp. I said I ordered garlic shrimp, she rolled her eyes and said we don't have garlic sauce and walked away. I could have gotten up and found a manager but I had clients who needed to catch a 10pm flight. So I dined on the side of broccoli and fried rice. I pushed the plate to tge side untouched. The szechsun prawns were not taken off the bill and I assume, found its way to the trash? The food served correctly was excellent. Service was extremely unprofessional, rushed and in a militant manner. $240 bill, let's just say tip was less than the normal 30%. I left a brief note on...

We celebrated my wife's birthday here but the celebration was spoiled by poor service and poorer quality food. My wife's dish was the Filet Mignon with Brown Sauce. When my wife mentioned to the Maitre D' that the steak and sauce was tasteless, he suggested she put soy sauce on it (which we only had at the table because I had to get up and get it from the wait station). I don't spend $20 on a Filet to put soy sauce on it. Then she discovered that the steak she had ordered rare was actually half past well-done.

I ordered the Grand Marnier Shrimp. I asked for a minor substitute of one rice for another but was told by the waiter that that was not possible without extra charge but is available on the lunch menu gratis. The Maitre D' was equally unaccommodating - his attitude was dismissive. The shrimp was supposed to have a Grand Marnier cream sauce but there was very little of it and I found myself mopping the plate to find enough to "wet" the shrimp. The broccoli was cold on both dishes. The waiter was nice but inept...no refills of water and basic Chinese condiments not on the table. If you want consistent, well-prepared Chinese fare, try Flo's. The service is friendly, gracious, and...

I visited Jade Palace on December 25th for dinner. Having a reservation made the experience smooth—we were seated quickly, and the staff, including the manager, were incredibly friendly and attentive.

Due to the holiday, the menu was limited, which was understandable. The drinks, however, were a highlight—absolutely delicious and crafted with care. Unfortunately, the food didn’t match the same quality. I’ve only ever ordered their pork fried rice for takeout before, which has always been stellar, but this visit was underwhelming. The wontons were decent but plated oddly and without much thought. The "egg roll" was massive but awful—mostly shredded cabbage with barely any filling, just a few bits of sausage-like meat and unpleasant mini shrimp.

The two main dishes we tried were also subpar, lacking flavor. Adding to the disappointment, the black tablecloths were covered in lint, and the overall furniture and atmosphere felt outdated and in desperate need of renovation and/or redecorating.

While the drinks and service were excellent, the food and ambiance fell short of expectations. With some improvements, Jade Palace could...

First time at this restaurant and choose it because of the overall reviews. I was not disappointed! This isn’t your local Chinese restaurant, but a beautifully decorated and upscale place. Don’t expect a huge menu, but they focus on what they do and do it right. Started with a Mia Tia that was very good and brought me back to the tropics. Had the lettuce wraps for an appetizer and it was served table side and was super tasty. The sauce was a bit salty, so use it sparingly. Had the four delight plate for dinner. It was a combo of chicken, pork, shrimp and scallops in a brown sauce with some veggies. Choose the brown rice to go with it and it was a great dish. Service was polite, professional and timely, especially on a busy Friday night dinner. The location is small and seems very popular with the locals, so make reservations if you want to be sure to get in when you want. Definitely a must try if you’re looking for a quality experience in Scottsdale. 👍👍 up!

I had a hankering for authentic Chinese cuisine and chose this place off the reviews. I had doubts immediately from the moment I walked in and was greeted by 2 cheery blonds. The decor was pleasant and I was hungry so... I went for it. To my surprise everything went perfectly. The shrimp dish was delish, they have a full bar with a nice variety of options and all the staff (not an Asian in sight) were attentive and professional. Roman, the GM stopped by each table to greet customers. Exactly the esthetic we need in the West Valley. A bit pricey, but worth it!

This was our first time. We have our usual Chinese spot and it took a recommendation to get us to try something new. We're happy we did. When we walked in we had a bit of a wait to get our table, but there was a lovely fish tank we got to hang out with. Once seated, our service was impeccable and the food came quickly as we ordered. The drinks were great, especially the lychee martini. The lettuce wraps were a favorite and they way the kids got their sweet and sour chicken was a hit. We also loved that the brown rice was an option and cooked perfectly sticky.
