I was buying a custom made suit online and needed a tailor to measure me for it. Finding someone to do it, however, was much harder than expected. When I called, I was promptly greeted and was told that they could do it for $25 dollars and I could drop in anytime. I went later on in the day when another customer was being fitted. I waited for about 15 minutes and was seen. All workers were very helpful. The tailor was exceptionally helpful and kind. When she started to measure me she noted that she wasn't sure exactly what the website wanted for some of the measurements. I asked her if i could get my computer to show her, which she enthusiastically agreed to saying that it would allow us to make sure everything was perfect. We then went through each step making sure everything was exactly right. She then charged me $5 less than what was stated before. It took about 30 minutes when all was said and done. I had two pairs of pants hemmed here, an alteration I have done with every new pair that I buy. When dropping them off, they said I’d receive a confirmation email—I did not. Then they said I’d receive an email when they were ready—I did not. When I picked them up, they were handed to me on two hangers, not bagged. This is something I’d be fine with except they were covered it enough lint and thread scraps that I needed them dry cleaned before I could wear them. The pressing at the bottom of the hem was also sloppy, with visible chalk marks on one pair. The service was curt, which is normally fine, but it further subtracted from the customer experience. I would like to give a big shoutout to Whitney and her other colleagues to take the time to help me give a good amount of information in custom embroideries to help me on a small diy project for my friend. The willingness to share information was very appreciated to help me guide my project. This is just to show my appreciation towards them and their business. But please I highly recommend going here to get your alterations and don’t worry about those boo boo review those are haters and impatient people.
