I called up yesterday to make an appointment to get my Samsung phone fixed. I had previously been told my battery needed replacement. I know that the Seal Beach location is often busy, so I got to the store 3 minutes before they opened. I talked to the person who unlocked the door:Edward. He listened to my descriptions of apps going out of control, telling me my phone was "FULL"; that I had viruses, needed to cool off my phone, that I had too many apps ... and the list goes on. Every time I used my phone, more apps showed up and my phone was becoming a nightmare. I needed to clean apps and a laundry list of things by more and more apps. Edward looked at one screen and told me that apps shown were actually MALWARE from Google Play Store. The apps were not going to help me; they were there to.take over my phone.
Edward said to leave the phone with him and he would review all the apps and would remove the bad apps from.my phone. He also said he would check the battery and other sections of my phone.
About 75 minutes later, Edward called me and told me my phone was ready for pickup. My battery was ok: It didn't meet the level of qualifying as a problem yet. He had checked just about everything and found my phone wasn't the disaster I thought it was. He removed 2 apps that were draining power from my phone. He removed all apps that had been listed/suggested by Google Play to stop viruses, improve the functionality of my phone. Turns out all of those suggested apps of anti-virus, anti-malware, and apps supposed to improve the functionality of my pho e were exactly the opposite... they were malware that were trying to infiltrate my phone.
Thanks to Edward, all of those abhorrent apps that were running amuck were gone. My phone had cooled off and my phone functions really well. "UBrokeIFixit" in Seal Beach is a very helpful place. I am very appreciative of Edward's know and skills. My phone is...

I was doing some shopping around comparing prices since I was gonna be taken into devices and by far these guys were to me the most reliable the most friendliest and the most knowledgeable about the products that they’re repairing ...Other shops so I called we were just trying to get the conversation done and over with didn’t give me that much info and the prices were too high. When I called to get some quotes staff answered all my questions , they had a vast knowledge of what they were doing they even gave me bottle water while I was waiting in the lobby :) thank you by the way .. first impressions when I walked into the store was just wow breathtaking never been inside a store that’s was well-kept and just so clean besides my own store lol I brought in my galaxy s8 plus I was pleased to hear that they have the parts in stock completely original from Samsung and they were able to complete the repair within a few hours same with my iPhone 7 Plus my personal phone .. the check in process was flawless and the repair times that they gave me were spot on quality of the work was executed beautifully you can really tell that these guys know what they’re doing .. This time around I did buy tempered glass for both devices and too heavy duty covers to avoid any damages but of course if anything does happen again I will be back to you guys that is guaranteed thank you for the awesome service and the great quality of repair that you gave me and allowing me to continue my day-to-day business without having to slice my fingers on a broken jagged screen

Read moreBeen trying for a month now to get my Google Pixel 9 fixed. They keep saying there are no parts, however they are the only repair place that Google covers under their warranty. So not sure what the situation is between them, but uBreakiFix could at least update me and give me a status.
UPDATE: after the below response from uBreakiFix, I called the phone number provided, got a recorded message and pressed option to speak to someone then got hold music for the next 20 minutes. Finally spoke with someone from Asurion (part company - each store is a Franchise), they told me to call the local store and would be happy to give me their phone number. They said there wasn't anything they could do would if I went back to the store (a third time) and still didn't get anywhere, feel free to call them back.
So was my experience really important and was that your best attempt to make it better...
