I get to the place and was waiting to get loaded. I had to go on the receiving side to get roll stock. Waited an hour no one came. So I called shipping, they said they would contact someone. 45 minutes go by im still sitting in the dock. Meanwhile a calark truck backs up. They start unloading him immediately. So that's when I ask what they wanted me to do. They said I had to lower my landing gear and then put a glad hand lock on which I did. Another truck comes in and they start unloading that one. We are now on 3 hours. They let me know I have to give them my keys. So in other words turn off my truck. It's 100 degrees. I said I'm not doing that but I'll pull from underneath the trailer. They said I couldn't do that. I said why yall have 30 trailers on the other side with no trucks under them in docks. They said we do things differently on this side. It's all the same company mind you. He then says he has to work in the heat so it shouldn't bother me. That's not the point. Why should I have to sit in the heat especially since temperatures are higher inside the truck then outside. So they wouldn't load me so I left. All because they need more control then necessary. I already have my lines disconnected from the trailer and the landings are down plus there is a chock block. Where am I going? I see it as them just wanted to mess with...
Read moreThe gray headed guy on that forklift is lazy! I was told to turn the light on the outside of the building letting workers know a driver is out there to get unloaded and not to walk into the building. I flipped the light switch and stood out there for 1 hour no one came to the dock! I saw someone that worked there by my truck and asked where is the forklift person he said he must be busy just wait until some come get you! OK so I got back into my truck in plain view in line next waiting for instructions on what dock to back into. Now another driver that been there before went between me and another trailer backed in and went inside the building to find the guy to unload him! Then after I confronted the forklift guy first he never got his a** off the forklift telling me (What do you want me to do?)As for that other driver he really didn't look at me! I asked him (Hey man what's up with that?) You been here before? He said no! Then he said you have to go looking for him! Lier you said you never been...
Read moreThis place is HORRIBLE, if you are delivering Rollstock! The best you can do is get here, sadly before the sun comes up. Otherwise, you’re screwed! Any, gentleman that unloads you will not, say a word for why you are waiting! Even, if you are already pulled in the dock, or they see you pulling into the dock! Communication would at least help with the hours of sitting there waiting for someone to come. However on the rare times they do tell you why it’s taking them so long to unload you, they will LIE about how long it will be before they come out and start on your load. Take note, when they do unload you, it’s usually fast to remove just 6-8 rollstocks off! Oh, and it matters nothing to call in and notify them, inside that you are out there! They’ll tell you they are sending someone out! That person won’t come out for more than an hour to two hours later! Stay in mind I’ve been here on multiple occasions…. The only time I leave at a decent amount of time, has been before the sun...
